bro... please suggest me a solution to this problem. are the valve stem seals available separately? and what should the cost be? That means the engine will have to be opened up again right?

To let you know, the smoke disappears after a couple of minutes of revving. Only reappears in the mornings at cold start.
to diagnose the problem check the spark plug.If it has oily wet black coating on the center electrode ,you have the problem if not and plug is dry black ,then you are running rich AFR.
Only a knowledgeable Mechanic can do the job,and involves opening the top head only.....but first check the spark plug.

        have some problems:

1.Every morning when i take out the bike from the garage the petrol leakes from the outlet given to drain out the dirt from the carb i even tried to put the fuel off when the bike is not it use.

Your fuel tap is not closing, check and change the washer inside.Check the drain bleed screw and tighten it gently.

2.My bike has lost its pick up it moves forward 4-5sec after i have left the clutch
is it the clutchplate or carb ?

Problem Could be Clutch plate... or dirty air filter.....or engine since you had done 90K.

3.Black smoke starts coming out if i rip the bike.

Running rich AFR, clean the air filter and set the Air Fuel Ratio

        90k on the odo

one last question what is the 180 bore kit ? how much does it cost ? where can i get it
Reference to the 180 Kit is to the RTR 180 Bore with Piston with Rings, along with Chain tensioner...available with TVS A.S.S...costs roughly 2,500/- for parts only...Gixxer can give you a correct idea on this
        ?

The Mech will do it properly,if you tell him...But first clean air filter and see.

Thanks bro... I think I will rev the bike hard tonight... do that inclination test to see how smooth and fast the bike climbs that gradient. Open up the plug tomorrow, take a picture and upload it here for you and Gixxer bro to read. Last I saw the plug, there was no oil (or oily black coating) on the center electrode. It was darker brown than optimum and Gixxer had told me to go leaner on the AFR.

That and the fact that there were hardly anyone around at the water falls and the Goddesses(Kauveri/Ganga) shrine ensured that i did some riding .

Take a pic of the spark plug and put it here. Then in all probability from what you have said, it looks like your engine is drinking oil.

Put the palm of your hand about a couple of inches from the silencer's end pipe and ask someone to rev the bike hard. Then let us know what kinda soot you get on your palm ,if it's oily ,then engine needs to be opened up.

9004 was the name of the socket itself, not the number..

sockets are named in the following manner

so yours is 9004 (stock) and the FX's headlamp has H4 socket, which even translates to HS1 or HB5...
                            its all called as H4.

but you really don't need to change your headlamp to support that socket as i said earlier, that 55w bulb as well as HID bulbs will be available for your current 9004 socket itself....
thus will cut your job of changing the headlamp.

                            ..
                            Thanks bro

Today i tried getting 55W bulb for my stock fiero holder, it seems not available in stock & I have requested the shop owner to get it for me.

I am planning to take things easy, If i want to lot things I wana change in my fiero with yezdi doom, bar handle & rear reduced with button tyres will make it look bad ass motorcycle, but I am an executive office goer & I do not know if that will suit my Image & also other side of my heart says keeep the baby stock

so not yet sure of what will happen in future

& Yes congos on your 1st longest ride & this small incidents are all part & parcel of riding, you will need to keep learning from it & be better prepared for next times.

I recently did 450kms round trip on a single day & fiero performed brilliantly well

i am running a stupid MRF Scales in the front (splendor's tyre) and Dunlop monster 100/90 at the rear.
both of them are almost 30k old by now.

                              @ chief

yes bro, the bike is performing literally amazing, acceleration is outstanding, can keep up with all the newer gen bikes, infact can perform better than most of em.

                              @ velociraptor

yaa, i just forgot about that oil issue, I've clicked pics, I'll put it in this same post down..
                              thanks for reminding me...

                              @ gixxer

yes buddy, I've clicked the spark plug pics today itself, i wanted to click the pic after that long ride..
I'll put it down here too

                              @ abhilasabhi

9004 is a bit difficult to source than the rest, but isn't impossible, car acc shops have it.
take your bulb and show them, they might not understand the socket, those guys can only understand H3, H7 and H4.
everything else is a rocket science to them.

                              @ psr

tell me, in three phase coil system, do we still have that grounding for half wave ??
and you didn't let me know weather we get higher capacity 2 phase rr's ??
as a replacement to our current ones..

                              @ all

I've clicked the pics of the plug, let me know if there's something important i need to know.

I've clicked with and without flash both..
let me know your expert opinion..

besides as rakesh pointed out, my bike is still leaking oil from almost everywhere !!

                              see these pics

however this isn't a major issue for me, its something else.
my bike drips a few drops of oil whenever i service it and change the oil....

i think its definitely leaking from behind the front sprocket, here's the pics...

let me know what all do i need to do....

DAMM i guess this time again i have a lot to work on !!
Giving a lot to a fiero.
Expecting a lot from a fiero.

                                1. Carb is in good tune buddy, congratulations on that.

                                2. Oil is leaking from the exhaust tappet adjustment nut.

                                3.Oil leak from bore packing.

                                4. oil leak from engine stud bolt(s) (oil visible near the engine mounting with the chassis down cradle)

5.The oil leak from the sprocket area is because of the oil seal going bad .

Point 2 needs 3bond and that should do the job.

Point 3 could be because of point 4.

Point 5 needs new oil seal.

A day's work at the mech and nothing serious. The engine needs to be opened up to re-install the bore packings and that will take care of points 3 and 4.

Same with the leak from gb sprocket seal, needs opening up.

The things don't need urgency as long as you are topping up the oil.

My suggestion would be to get the head matched with the bore this time when the engine is opened up.
