Guys, I've not found any Phoenix ownership thread... so I'm starting one...

I've bought this one on last week and I'm from Bangladesh. I'll post a short review later.
I've a question; what is the official grade of engine oil for Phoenix? My bike haven't come with any owner manual, so that's why I'm asking this.

Here is a quick review of mine:
Ive completed 420+ km only. Initial pickup is great, it is feels like 150cc. There are no vibration under 60kmph but can feel when you cross the 60 kmph. This bike definitely needs 5th gear but dont know why TVS hasnt included that. Gear shifting is pain, especially 1 to 2. Its sound like something is breaking in the engine. But 2 to 3 or 3 to 4 is smooth (already have adjusted class cable many times but have no luck here). Parking lights in headlight and console light should be on all the time but mind doesnt. Its on only while I switch on the parking. Handle bar is unnecessary too much rise for my opinion. It should be great if they lowered little bit. The bikes seat is awesome. Sometimes it also works like shock-absorber. Series spring suspensions work like magic. It is too early to predict kmpl but mine cross 420+ with full tank oil and 1 bar left on the fuel meter. TVS Auto Bangladesh suggested 20w50 on their locally printed manual and after change the oil to 20w40 I noticed the difference and asked on TVS Phoenix Facebook page to confirm. They told me, they optimized engine for 10w30 and suggest me to change to that grade. So changed to 10w30 and engines smoothness and initial pickup is increases than before (may be on my imagine only). When I take off my hands from handle, it is wobble little bit now but wasnt early, need to adjust the rear wheel I guess.
Waiting to get 1st service and will report after that.

Default TVS Phoenix 125 Brake Upgrade

    Hello people
I own a 2014 TVS Phoenix 125 . The front brake setup is same as Apache RTR ( except a small disc). The braking is good but it lacks the feedback,it is kind of abrupt. The problem is if I keep pressing brake lever with same force the bike doesn't slow down fast enough BUT if I apply a little more pressure the disc gets suddenly grabbed abruptly.
Any repair or modification to resolve this issue.
Note:- New brake pads(ASK make) are installed before 5k kms and brakes are bleed before 5k kms(Castrol Dot 4)
    Regards,
    BALAJI

Upgraded the master cylinder to BYBRE from fz16 v2 . Braking has improved very much, mainly feedback. Braking is more progressive as compared to stock TVS master cylinder which is more abrupt.
Still pending upgrade - P220's steel braided front brake hose.
