Not just the centre strip, the entire tank is made of plastic/fibre. The actual metal tank is inside it, like in the FZ.

Firs of all congratulations on the beauty and I like the build quality of Yamaha...
I heard that R3 doesn't have some kind of head light switch is it true ? is it high beam low beam switch or switch to turn on lights ?

Passing light switch and high/low beam switch is present in their usual pisitions
