The fuel indicator was on the last bar but had not started to blink. But as you said, it does explain why the bike shut off if a minimum of 3L is required in the tank to run from the main fuel line.

Very different this is to my previous bike where the last bar on the indicator would start blinking and then show empty and still it would continue to run on the main line.

Thanks for the info! . Oh,and I managed a full 400kms on a full tank before 1st service! Pretty decent mileage that!

For the safer side.. i would suggest you to change from main fuel to reserve whenever u see 2bars left on the console...
Btw i always keep the fuel to knob to reserve... Wether i have 10 lit or 2 😛

Hahaha! That does make sense. As there are no bad effects of running from reserve all the time (I think). I lost power and stalled right in the middle of a fast moving road, but it was 6 in the morning so there were almost no traffic. Had it been a bit later, I could have been in trouble!

I just saw a red Apache 200 here. Looks cute, and the exhaust was sounding good too. More pictures of that red matte one please[emoji115]

Does the exhaust rusting problem still exist ?
                              Has Tvs rectified it ?

Same with RTR180 aswell. When the petrol level comes to last 1.5 L, the petrol pump indicator light glows in the console. Even their 100cc Star City has a reserve volume of more than 2Lit.
