Sagar bhai,
I had faced the similar issue...the abs light blinks when you turn on the ignition... and when u go above 10 -15kmph the light should go off....if the light is still on then you have some serious issue with the abs.... mine light used to be on... I had no idea about abs, but when i used to press hard brakes the rear tyre used to skid.... normally the tire does not lock and skid.... then when i visited the service centre they checked the bike and it ruled out that the speed sensor and the ABS sensor was not working...they changed it and now there is no issues with the brakes
Please visit the service center but there are few engineers who work on ABS models...hopefully there should be someone... !
Thank me later.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Ownership Experience
any help with above query?Originally posted by srp321 View PostHello fellow xBhpians,
I own a RTR200 2017 edition.
Could someone point me to the things that i need to check and/or be wary of when my bike is already due for 5th servicing.
I'm asking this bcoz in recent 4-5 months, i have been using it sparingly and current ODO reading is ~8200 km (4th servicing at 7000 km, 3+ months back)
Apart from the usual chain, handling, switches, brake cleaning, i feel that i need to replace the engine oil as its looking more on the black side and thin.
Till date only once i have replaced the full oil, and rest only top-up as bike didn't require it.
And, if oil change is required, which one should i choose ?
Also, any help with the side stand being too slant? i always have to park my bike on double stand as the side stand feels very slant and i fear that bike might fall in many situations
TIA

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Ownership Experience
I do use the double stand most of the time, but in some cases, say on a non-cemented or hard floor or on a loose-recently made ground, double stand is of no use as it goes inside the ground whereas the side stand can be used by putting a slab/ piece of hard board just underneath the tip of side stand.Originally posted by reckless_biker View PostDude use motul 10w30 Synthetic Oil and I removed the side stand becoz of the same issue .. my friend's bike had fallen 2 times becoz of the side stand.

You need to properly fit the stand then only you can be rely on it.

Or you can go.tothe local welder and do some welding near the stand so.it bends lessOriginally posted by reckless_biker View PostYou need to properly fit the stand then only you can be rely on it.

Motul 5100, 10w 30 is semi synthetic not fully synthetic. You can use honda throttle 10w 30 fully synthetic oil.Originally posted by reckless_biker View PostDude use motul 10w30 Synthetic Oil and I removed the side stand becoz of the same issue .. my friend's bike had fallen 2 times becoz of the side stand.

ABS is working fine and as you said while self check it blinks. After it reaches 10km/hr it goes off.
The front break is being applied well. However, rear break it just pumps and skids. Some problem with it. So that only I have queried for best SVC in Bangalore and also for the the best ABS trained engineer.
