I completed more than 1500kms. Tried my level best not to put my bike in red line but didn't able to control sometimes.
My top speed is 126 kmph, bike could do more but i couldn't...

Till 100 kmph bike is not giving any vibs or there is little but after that it gives vibs below saddle and foot pegs but no vibs on handlebar.
Took my bike for 250kms drive both way with a pillion, got mileage of around 30kmpl which is least i got till now.
Changed my petrol pump after that from HP to SHELL, I am getting good mileage after that.

Once i was driving behind bus and suddenly came across one big hole of around a feet deep maybe little less, i had to go through it.
I was without pillion tried my level best to slow as much as i can. I want to ask how bad it could be for my bike as i am facing little metal rubbing noise from handle after that but nothing visible.
Once there was a man and a Bike....
        They have seen once only.....

hey guys... i think to buy this bike but i have heard of the few problems in it... i heard that the metallic parts in this bike are getting rusted....i also enquired the mileage of this bike and got different reviews..some say that its 20-25 and some say ghat its 35-40.so can you all please tell me about the real mileage of this bike...and i also heard that someone made this bike to stand in the rain for 1or 2 hours and after that its digital console display started showing the first gear as neutral too...so can you all please tell me that is this problem there????please give your reviews regarding it...
also the pulsar 200NS is coming back with BSIV engine in january...so should i go for it or should buy apache 200 4v...please give me some suggestions guys...
          Hey,
I get an average fuel efficiency of 30-33.
I haven't faced any issue with display.
The neutral light issue is present but it'll be easily rectified by the SVC guys. Mine is already rectified.
I live in Bangalore and I haven't seen any rust on my bike.
This bike is worth the money you pay.
I would happily say its worth as an overall package compared to 200NS.
But it's your decision to take.
Every bike will have its own problems.
No matter what bike you buy.
          Happy bike hunting 👍

            Hey Guys!
I just bought a matte red version of the bike.
            Damn pleased with it.
            The bike is soooo good.

            My initial feelings
Handling: Bike is very nimble. Easy to turn. You actually think it's a lighter bike than the stated 148 kg.
Pick-up: While some say 20ish bhp is less, the power is readily available at lower rpms
Looks: Stunning eye catcher. Photos do not do justice to how pretty this bike is. You have to see it in the flesh to understand it's aesthetics.
Sound: exhaust sound has that low bass quality. Like a low grunt. The sound fades away at higher speed.
Console: This shows everything! Like freaking everything you'll ever need. Lap timer, clock, gear indicator, top speed recorded, 0-60, multiple trip meters!

            Now a few down sides
Quality: it's meh! You can see the weilding spots. I don't know why but that bothers me a little.
Hard to drive at lower speeds: It's really hard to drive at lower speeds. Flick of a wrist and you are cruising well over 50kmph. Makes it a difficult run in period.
Lights: Even in the low beam, the light is thrown upwards. I kinda hate people who drive with high beam all the time and now i am one of em! (gonna get this rectified in 1st servicing)
Brakes: For me the rear disc brake lackes bite. The front one is awesome!

Anywho the downside are meh only (except the light one)
I ride the bike everyday with a wide smile on my face.
            Trust me
Every bike has issues, but dwelling on them just for the sake of it is not right.
            Just love your bike
And feel it love you back!

P.s Always wear protective clothing and a helmet while driving. India is full of douchebags and alot of them will try to race you or do risky overtakes just because you have a beautiful bike.

Cheers man! I have the ditto feeling about my bike.
Headlight issue is not there and I do hate people blinding me with high beams. Although i would say the headlights are underpowered for night riding. And yes the rear brakes lacks initial bite and locks up if applied more force.

Again, this bikes give me a weird grin on my face whenever I ride it. I love the low rpm sound thus bike produces and yes this bike has a road presence. It is a head terner/gaze magnet whatever you want to call it.

              Safe riding. Cheers!

Guys, I got to know the way to reset the service indicator on the display of our RTR 200. Don't know if it works for other RTRs also or not.

                  Steps:
                  1. When the bike is stationary, press Mode button and go to top speed.
                  2. At top speed mode press Mode and Select button together for more than 30 seconds. The service notification will vanish.
                  3. If it's not working upto 30 seconds then keep the buttons pressed until the service indicator vanishes.

I had to do this step since the service center forgot to reset the service indicator after performing the second service.

                  Cheers...

Yes, unfortunately there have been reports with rusting catcon welds, though it's normal for any bikes to get rusted, it does take quite a while to get rusted due to thermal/oxidation factor, unfortunately some Apache 200 have them rusted less than 100 kay on the odo. Poor silencer material quality at the cat con level. But that being said, using black paint to temporarily hide the rust spot is not a bad idea, but the heat from the silencer will eventually chip away the paint if you use normal black spray paint.

Rust paint? Though rust is prevented mostly through well finished primered and painted surface. Just painting black paint on metal would lead to paint flaking. Check, if the paint you're using is specifically rust proof, AND IS HEAT RESISTANT paint. Though most say rust proof, they aren't heat proof, so do that into account.

Really uncomfortable about braking under high speed
                      Does not feel comfortable

Rear tire slides can be caused by locking of the rear wheels, by braking or by rapid downshifting from higher to lower gears that the tranny locks your rear wheel and slides in response. Now, if you find your rear brake locking frequently, try using the front brake, and try to reduce the dependency on the rear brake. 70/30 should be your ideal ballpark, try to reduce the pressure on rear brake pedal, it takes a little practice. Remember front brake combined with back brake gives you the best braking.

                        Cheers!

Yes it does slip but that's usually when you're hard braking and also while it just comes after service. Just try to follow what b7ackthorn has said it will drastically avoid fishtailing of the bike
