I hope this issue goes away with the first service.

please get the clutch setting checked and adjusted from the service center or do it yourself if you know how to.

Finding neutral and hard gear shifts are mostly due to wrong setting of the clutch cable and can be easily adjusted.

I own NS 2012 model. No issues with gear shifts n finding neutral.

Owned P200(old one) no issues with that bike as well.

Welcome to bajaj n all? lol

I experienced hard gear shift for the first 100 km. After that it is really smooth. I'm able to shift into neutral more than 90% of the times at signals. By the way, running in is 2000km, not 450km/1st servicing :P

You are correct, the run-in period is 2000 km. I missed that in the Manual. I assumed that run-in period is till the first service. Is it so for all other bikes?

More wait till I can ride freely....

Haha! I changed to Motul 3100 20w50 at 250km and 800km. Will change to Motul 7100 at 2,500. Changed oil filter both times too.

Since I got home the new RS200, recurring conversation at home:

Wifey: "Please get bread and some vegetables from the store"

    Me: "OK"

Wifey "PUT THE KEYS DOWN!!!! Grocery store is just outside building gate!!!"

    Me: "ok"

Cant get enough of the lovely bike!

Has anyone taken the bike out on highway? How is its performance out there? How does the fairing hold up? And how is the wind blast?

Rode it at noida free roads ,kind of like highway ,actually much better than highway.
Upto 100km/hr, I would say RS felt boring than NS.
after 120kmph,it was pretty good. About 30% more stable than NS.didn't went above that and rode at those speeds FOR like 30sec.don't tell this to the owner. .!!!(happens to be friend of my big brother)

At 100 or 130, how were the vibrations and wind blast? And why boring than NS?

Because NS is the best bike to come out of BAL's stable!
Vibes are there but pretty manageable. The bike is a joy riding in a straight line.
