Everything apart from the exhaust pipes are cast iron or steel. They will rust, if you use harsh chemicals. Would suggest an antirust treatment. But be careful what you use on the discs. It shouldn't get glazed.

Dab some Vaseline on it, except the brake disc of course. Don't put Vaseline on areas which generate heat either.

Looks like the harpic corroded the protective layer of the bolts and stuff.

Disc, if you are regularly using the bike, it will rub off.

I would have loved to help, but I'm travelling for a couple of weeks.
You can try one thing ... Call Shiv Kumar from Benelli SVC in Bangalore. You can request him to ship it to you and you can do a bank transfer to the svc account.

Hello All, Sharing my first 2K experience with the TNT 300

    Last week I did a Solo 980Kms: Bangalore -> Salem -> Coimbatore -> Palakkad -> Salem -> Coimbatore -> Bangalore

    Pros:
    • Bike did exceptionally well on the highways, very stable even at 120 - 125 kmph, I believe the credit goes to the bike's weight and it's solid build.
    • Breaks are very responsive, both the front and the rear
    • The ABS does it's job. Had a close encounter with a trailer truck who doesn't value road rules. If not for the ABS, I won't be writing this post now
    • The bike's true potential is seen after 100kmph. Very stable and decent pickup from 100 - 140 kmph
    • The factory seats are very comfortable
    • Sounds really good

    Cons:
    • High beams are not the best in class
    • Hard clutch. It can be a pain in the wrist for people who are not used to it
    • Ground clearence is not ment for our Indian speed breakers

And when it comes to fuel, Just use the available ones, Don't bother "Shell Only" because shell is unavailable on TN and Kerala. And honesly I don't see any performance difference when I mixed Shell with Speed.

    Here's a photo of my TNT 300
