Did a 250km ride including some 30km off-roading. I must say off-roading was simply superb. Himalayan felt at home in that terrain. It was a comfortable ride both on-road and off-road.

Got the first service done on 16th May. After the first service the heating has reduced to a great extent. And the engine noise has also come down. The bike feels much better now. Engine feels smooth. Still the neutral light keep popping up in first gear when riding in half clutch in bumper to bumper traffic. Have to get it rectified again with the ASS. But the frequency has come down. Earlier it would blink every now and then. Economy is around 33kmpl. Suspension feels better now. And yes the caps have fallen off and have ordered them. The service centre does not have stock of the caps and many Himalayan owners have reported the same. So keep a tab on those caps.
Ceat Gripp feels comfortable and confident in tar road, slush and wet mud roads. But same cannot be said about dry mud roads. The tyre spins and be cautious while riding.
