Thanks Arwin, i got to know that, in Salem also some people are doing it. Anyhow I'm running with FI, and let it go until dies. I need fuel injector and filter before the fuel injector for spare purposes. Can help if anyone knows where i can get?

    Update:
In this 1.5 years after converting to Carburettor, I have covered 23,000km. I have not faced any major problems.

I booked Apache RTR 200 Carburettor ABS with Smart X Connect (BS4) White colour. Awaiting delivery in 2-3 weeks. I am going to pass on my RTR 160 Fi to my younger brother for his local trips (he owns a car).

When I test rode the RTR 200, I couldn't experience substantial increase in power or torque. Only a minor increase. But I decided to stick with TVS and went for RTR200 only for safety- Dual Channel ABS as I am content with the power and torque of even my 160cc.

The reason I went with Carburettor was that from BS6 onwards, every bike will come with Fuel Injector. As I live in a rural area, I preferred the easy repairability of Carburettor. Also BS6 Fi is costlier than Rs.10500 than BS4 Carburettor and also has 5% lesser power and torque.

    Cheers.

The work was done in TVS service centre itself. They have already done in 15 or so bikes so far.
The wiring of eFI was retained. They didn't remove any parts of eFI including ECU. So if in future I get spares, I have the option of going back to eFi. Carburettor added but On-off-reserve switch not installed.
It cost Rs.3500 for labour, spares and routine service.
I have already done 5000 kilometres after the conversion and no problems so far. My Odo is 56,000 km. Bought in early 2010.
Exhaust note, pick up are the same. Mileage decreased slightly from 58kmpl to 55kmpl.
