Do you have any solution for this problem... or if at all you people are having the same problem as me..

as of I've seen pulsars and avengers start getting this problem after 2years of usage.
    ??
ya I had similar probs earlier but its got very simple solution to it.
every time u clean ur bike make wet the mouth of the silencer end with used engnine oil which u can get easily from garage.
make sure that the end of the silencer is black with the used oil.
now take a brush and make the oil reachout properly the affected area, I thnk the presence of the oil will prevent the rust to develop more, I think its not too late.

check the tyre pressure. too much air may cause wobbling at certain speeds. Alignments also may be the concerns.

But... my bike runs very well in cold weather (early mornings and at nights) but it feels relatively harsher and strained during the warmer times (afternoons). My guess was that the air-fuel mixture is rich, hence it runs better when colder denser air is available. Am I right?

    very right.

One more thing, the oil level has started dropping below the minimum mark after just 1000kms of filling new oil!! There are no signs of oil leaks anywhere near the engine, the exhaust doesn't produce white smoke and there has been no drop in mileage. I even had the oil seals replaced few months back. So what's wrong?
a lot depends on the type of oil. semi-synthetic oil goes kaput earlier like power1.

hmm got it rectified...the front tyre was not properly fitted .....
and can we open up the bike in 5th gear after first servicing like allowing it to cross the 4k rpm mark and going upto 6k or so... or we should stick to the run-in till 2000 kms... please tell...bored of following the run-in strictly.... and the second servicing is @ 2500kms.. long time...sheesh...

4 to 5 k for sometime will not harm at all
it may actually help..as long as you dont keep at that constant rpm for long
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

as Richard said - its very true that u can speed above 5K rpm but make sure u do only for a very short time .. dont drag ur engine in any case..
let the "boring" Run-in be complete then u will hav a engine block that will love to go on higher rpm.

Experiencing the same problem with Castrol Active4T. Will try Motul 3000 4t next time and revert back with the results. BTW, which oil do you use?
