I have owned my cbz-x (red) for around 1 Year 6 Months now and I like the bike. I'v had no problems with it so far and maintaining it is cheap. It gives a mileage of 45-50 which is really nice in my eyes. I'm not a heavy user and for a city like Mumbai it serves its purpose of being able to pull away from the pack in a signal and manuver through standstill traffic with ease. I'v touched 110 on the bike and found that it reaches 95-100 without strain after which it tends to crawl or zoom depending on the road (incline flat decline) etc.

    Initial Ride Report

As I have told somewhere in the forum that after parting with my ZMA I have acquired myself a Panther Black HH Hunk. It was not willing decision but sometimes you have to surrender to the circumstances but lets not get emotional and come to the point. I took the delivery of the bike on Sunday evening with 2 kms on odo, and in last 3 days I have covered 150 kms, want to complete the running in on ASAP basis so that I can ride with no strings attached.
After riding ZMA for 40000 kms I was skeptical about using a smaller bike both in terms of engine capacity and size but Hunk manage to rule out the size thing, its got a big bike feel the knee recess are nicely design and hold the thighs very snugly. But the fact that its just a 150 (149.1) cc is pretty evident at least to me. But lets not mourn, the bike cruise very efficiently at 60 Kmph, engine is quite smooth though not in same league as that of unis mill. The one sore point of this overall good package is pathetic gearbox its highly clunky, gears dont slot with positive ness. Even the engine is tending to idle at a higher rpm than required. I will be getting this checked as I dont want to stress the engine in any manner in this crucial period.
Will be keep updating the further developments on this thread, this thread seems to be an orphan so I am adopting it.

this reminds me of a guy who lived in our colony who took Kawasaki Caliber when he finished 10th and done 500+ kms in some matter of hours inside the city...lol

I feel sad for you mate. How did you cope with less power than you used to and the smooth babe you were driving.
Talking about Hunk, yes it must be less in power but it sure gives a big bike feel and i love the design of the bike...I also particularly love the way our knees stick to it like made for each individual...

@Bandhav: You got a HH Hunk!! Where did you mention it? I have missed that particular post of yours.. But why the Hunk after riding the 200cc+ ZMA? Probably, because you didn't want a Pulsar! But, why not another ZMA, I can't help wondering...

Anyhow, congratulations for getting your Panther.
