    @Abhisek

I don't remember correctly but I think I put 450 ml on each side when I changed mine.

Also it was done by my mechanic who only has the basic tools so I'm sure its not that big a deal.

The service center guy should assist you correctly in this I presume.

Does anybody feel that the lights on the fazer have not been designed well? The low beam light is useful only in extremely dark roads and illuminates the left side of the road. And the highbeam is useful as low beams when you adjust the throw to be around 50m in front of the bike. Seems like Yamaha should have given them more thought?

Can't comment on this as i haven't ridden a fazer.. But being a dual headlight setup, there should be enough illumination on the road..
R15 has the same thing on low beams and the throw seems to be kinda towards centre.. Maybe you can try to adjust the throw.

    Ride safe and have fun.

One more question - does the oil seal change requires special tools or can it be done at a any mechanic (one of my friend owns an authorised Hero svc ), so just need your views?

Any mech can do this.. And hardly a 30min job..
There are oils by castrol and shell.. Maybe others also i don't know of.. I had also changed the seals and oil last week or so.. And the mech used servo fluid.. Don't remember the exact quantity..

    Ride safe and have fun.

The prices look fair to me except for the Sprocket. I changed it for ~1500 bucks. And also the indicators, you are talking about changing only the bulbs right? If yes than it is costly!
Check for commercial areas known for bike spare parts in your city and inquire for the body kits. Some may keep genuine Yamaha spares. I got my lock assy done in one such place and worked out to be cheaper than SVC.

Since only one light glows at a time, the illumination is not enough. I have to get the two-light setup done. Have some ideas in my mind but not finding enough time to make it.

Also is it possible to adjust the throw laterally? I have adjusted it vertically, but the main portion of the low beam is still way to the left.

    Cheers!!

Yea buddy...same issue.....i also feel the throw is towards left side..more....i felt this after i made adjustment to the light ..... first , i turned on both the headlights for low as well as high after this i noticed the throw was inconsistent and i was not able to see the potholes properly. hence i asked a frnd of mine to adjust the focus.....he did...now i can see the road properly but as as you said its more towards left side......is there any technique to adjust the focus by moving the light horizontally apart from vertical one???

Disc pad is touching few points on the disc. If I rotate the front wheel it stops after one or two rotations, but during riding it runs smooth. Is it normal? I thought the bike is new & after few kms it will be normal. I showed it to the guy at svc at the time of 1st servicing, he said the disc pas rubs a little bit. Is my disc out of plane? how to fix this?

Ya, the dual setup for low-beam can be done. Have read somewhere on xbhp a couple of days back. Maybe on the r15 thread, not sure.
i don't think the light can be adjusted laterally, sry for suggesting that in the previous post.
Try talking about the dual setup with a local mech you know.
