    Nice picks

Yes as you said there was a Honda tread earlier , which was an inspiration for me to buy one . Now that we have lost that tread lets recreate it with new ideas / Old knowledge .

Heating issue / Wont say its too hot but dose get mild hot in a short distance

My Uni is just 350 km done and i have not raised the throttle more than 4K Rpm and have kept her well bellow 50 Km/H range . If i travell say around 10 to 15 km at a stretch i can feel a little heat on my lower right leg ( right side of the engine - Where the Oil cap is ) IS that normal . Uni has not even gone for her 1st service yet .

    All uni owners ,

1 is it normal on a uni
2 if not what can be done

Thanks in advance for your upcoming advice

Well little heat is ok. But as you have not gone for 1st service as of now, i would suggest that you wait for 2nd service to get over. then you will be able to enjoy the real pleasure of riding a Unicorn.

Well mine is 32000 Km new. after lots of abuses it's time for a complete engine servicing.
I must say Unicorn is a no hastle bike. apart few expences i've never spent even a extra penny..

well was also thinking that same .. My fiero used to get hot as well . just wanted to reconfirm as have not used a UNI yet and its an ultra smooth engine . Don't want to mess the engine while on the run period .

    Hi,

My 3 month-old Uni's 2nd free-service is just over. The idling RPM looks to be somewhere like at 1.5 on the meter, rather than the usual 1.1 [don't remember the units on the meter!]. The service guys seem to have tinkered a bit with the RPMs.
Will this affect the bike's performance?
I notice a lot of vibrations when i hit 60Kph these days, which wasn't there pre-service. Could this be due to the changed engine settings? I can practically feel the vibrations shaking my arms, it's that bad.
    Please help!
PS: At 2100 Km run, they said the engine oil looks fine. One change of engine oil was done at 750Km.

    Hi

Now thats a bad news . Honda is supposed to get smoother after 2 services that's what i have heard . About the RPM yes they would change a bit because of the new tuning settings .They would tune it in every service and increase the ratio of air fuel mixture for smoother and powerful ride .

Vibrations : Any fiber part once removed and refitted would lose its original fit because of ware and tare .Since your vehicle is new the ware and tare ratio should be very minimal . what i can suggest is put the vehicle in center stand and try to raise the engine and check for the vibrating noise . Check which fiber part is vibrating . see if it can be fixed properly .

There is no harm in taking it to a local mech just for a suggestion , see if they can find the solution .Showroom service most of the times sucks
