of course they had to tamper with the wiring since they had to take few connection to the indicator and the battery . But i was asking about the mechanical parts warranty . Forget the battery .I have faith that nothing will happen to battery .

Yeah... even if anything happens to that low-powered battery, you get an excuse to upgrade...

As per me, it isn't affecting the bike anyhow, so it should be just the battery (as per the manuals).. but just in case any problem arises due to the fault of battery, like bulb fusing, bike failing to start, HMSI may have an excuse... Anyways, than to confuse yourself more, I'd suggest better to consult the HMSI service station people..

    Default Security system.

Can you please tell me from where did you buy the security system for the bike and how much does it cost if possible can you explain the features.
    Thanks in advance.

Problem : Trip meter is not working . Other than that there is nothing much to discuss . I had fixed a security system for my bike with a remote start and off option . Will have to explain the same to the service center people to take care . Lets see .

The new console looks snazzier than the old one
Not worth replacing the 1st gen Uni's console though.. The 1st gen's console looks very contemporary..
