and the cost of all this was 90,000
On a serious note, this surely is bad stuff. Too expensive I must say.

2) To the guy who use Shell petrol : Shell provides Normal 91 Octane and Super 91 Octane petrol. Super is having additives. Which is good for the bike???? Currently I am using Super.
Shell Super = Win !
3) I started getting a kind of scrubbing sound (not harsh) occasionally while riding the bike. Is that due to the speedo cable issue which we have mentioned in the forum earlier?? Getting the sound more when riding in bad roads... If its speedo cable, how can we resolve it without going to service station???? Expecting, more elaborated ways to do it, as I don't even have any idea where can I locate the cable
Scrubbing sound is not speedo cable. Speedo cable sound = squeaky sound which increases with increase in speed and is independent of road quality.
Yours sounds more like brake disc rotor scrubbing sound. If it indeed is the rotor sound clean the rotor and the brake pads if u are super sensitive about it else just let it be.
4) Break in period : Till 800 KM below 4K RPM; After 800 KM below 6K RPM; After 1000 KM First Service (Including oil change); After 1800KM above 6K RPM. Is this correct??????
I am gonna get a lot of flak for this but break in for the ninja 250R = 4k for the first 500 kms 6k for 800kms and from there on ride it like you stole it. If you ask me please dont bother about baby sitting the ninja till 1800kms.
This wont match with the owners manual though !
Bajaj service guy informed that after the first service, the oil change will be done only after 5000 or 6000 KMs.....
yes they say that....I personally got the oil changed at 3200kms. Changed to full synthetic at 3200 and now I change oil at every 4k kms. Make sure you change the oil filter too after u have put it through a lot of abuse like track of redline riding.
5) What are the security measures which you guys take when you park the bike in your house??? I just use bike cover that will distract lots of attention. Any bike alarms like Xena motor security used by Bluevolt available in India, which doesn't need any electrical modifications in the bike?
None. Got the Xena alarm...but have never felt the need to use it. It sure can come in handy if u r goin on a tour on the bike or something.
Note : Most of the above questions just came out of curiosity. I am happy with the bike and want to make sure that I am doing it right. There will be a delay in response in the forum, as I don't have Internet for the last 3 weeks
How the fcuk did u live for 3 weeks without the internetsigpic

relieved!
will finally be able to start contributing to the thread
When I took delivery of my ninja, it did not feel anything special at below 4k speeds. Also had to keep it below 4k & 6k during break in period. But you have to cross 8k just to realize that every rupee you have spent on this baby is worth it.

Can you please ask this guy to scan and post copy of his invoice here so we all can actually see cost of each part and start crying if the bill was in fact so high.Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

Bad luck i Have seen the bike it was still there when i went for first service of my bike. even the rear foot rest was also broken! but lucky the guy was, nothing has happened to him as said by the service guy. sad i could not get the damage amount.
also i have seen on bike while drag racing my bike from stand still. as soon as i shift to 3rd gear from 2nd gear after full throttle, the front wheel fly's in the air for little time then coming down. and after crossing the 8k rpm feels really good up thereNow Riding
