I am in Japan from next week so I will try and get the rubber piece if it is readily available. Can you send me a detailed photograph of the piece and also to what it is attached to?
Thanks

@ Jakrap & Gaurav - thanks guys. Looking forward to some good times - both on and offline !
BTW was at the Chennai PBK today for some registration formalities and noticed they had another bike ( another Blackie ) getting fitted with frame sliders. On asking, I was told that the owner had sourced them from Australia. I've been trying to source a set myself - any suggestions anyone?
I was also offered a paddock stand as an optional accessory - which is apparently a locally fabricated one - but that's what the Chennai PBK is using during service. Do you guys think it's something that I might need? I forgot to ask the price when I saw my bike though!
Taking delivery tomorrow morning - and I can't believe how excited I am over it!!

Was keen on a cowl too but changed my mind when I noticed that the bike they have on display at Chennai PBK had a loose/badly fitting cowl with what appeared to be some fiddly rubber peg-plug-thingies - and this was the show bike! AND... this has been the case from the time I booked the bike three months ago till date!
So I figured that if PBK couldn't fasten it properly how would poor mechanically challenged me? - hence ditched the option.

An original cowl will always have a little play. If you feel its too lose, then it might be that the two sets of rubber dampners inside the cowl are wrongly put. Just interchange them, and it might be better.
I got it from khivraj here, Manju (the NInja guy there ) while fitting had wrongly put those first. so i know it.
The cowl is totally worth the price.

Sorry guys, allow me one last jibe on the black vs green.
If its a Ferrari - it has to be red
If its a Yamaha - it has to be blue
If its a Cadillac - it has to be black
If its a Ducati - it has to be red
and...if its a Kawasaki - it has to be green.
Would you buy a black Ferrari?
Anyway, that said, wanted to know what Ninja accessories I can source from Singapore? Planning to be there next week. Anyone with specific knowledge on Ninja shopping in Singapore? The company I keep:

With regards to the cowling. You will have to adjust the rubber mounts at the underside of the cowling. Or else just stick some foam piece ( nice big 6 inch thickness piece between the seat cowl and the area where the papers are kept ) This will exert a constant upward force on the cowl, so it will not rattle/vibrate. I saw the play/gap on Malliah's ninja's seat cowl, and thats what i suggested.
Other option is to stick two pieces of longer rubber below where the plate meets the key lock. They will also serve the same purpose.
I believe the seat cowl for the 250 and the ZX-6R is the same... anyone correct me if wrong.

That is like saying a heroin has to be fair. Then what about Bipasha?
Of course my Ferrari is going to be black and not red.Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.
