    • First servicing was approx. Rs.1400 all including. Bike takes approx.2.5 hours to get serviced.

Just read about it. Good you shared it. There is no perfect bike! Will just have to tackle this out. And even then, there is no assurance it would be the best!

            • The number seems very small though - less than 300 bikes on account of oil seepage.

What about Royal Enfield's then? My RE was an oil fountain when I bought it 5 years ago!

will the crash kit fit the 2010 model since most of the website mention accessories for 2008 09 model none have 2010

there would be some duty which you will have to pay which will be intimated to you probably at the post office once your product arrives.

                        • I think the recall is for the US version of Ninja 250.

The below link is to check whether any of your vehicle is affected by a recall. You have to enter the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of the bike. I suggest to check tomorrow or later, as they will update the latest recalls. I hope that the news is not for FI version.

I am confident that it had more than 20-25 kmph more in store. (I know the max. speed is 169 but may be it was a speedo error). The road was crowded so did not want to try for more.

Me and Tenhut were both doing 160 and I believe that both were doing it for the first time on any two wheeler. In fact he did it in 5th gear. I would not be comfortable doing 160 even in my car but was absolutely comfortable on ninja. Our Pune group had 2 P220, 1 R15 & 2 Ninjas. I believe that average trip speed was in excess of 100.

Summing up - No vibration, no shake, absolute confidence and more power in store.

Just for the record - I checked average of my ninja. In 230 km of city bumper to bumper driving & 100 km blast to Shirval at an average speed of more than 100 kmph, the bike consumed 14 ltr of petrol translating in an average of 23.5kmph.
                              No kidding !
And to add to that I would like to say this to all Ninja owners :
Try slip streaming the vehicle ahead of you at about 160 kmph...its like a sling shot effect with the Ninja pulling way beyond what you thought it would !

@sudipta_roy: If you probably have ridden the Comet, then the Ninja is pretty much the same with a little bit of more power. The bullet is a totally different machine with lesser power, but a different ride experience. Its up to you to choose which category your purchase will be in.
