Though we're in the first hours of our relationship, I'm already getting to know the Ninja better. In our conversation on the way back home from bluevolt's place, she told me she absolutely hates traffic so I promised to give her a good stretch of tarmac... but she'd have to wait till things quietened down a bit at the office because I have responsibilities, you know. Boy, was she a lot less chatty after that. Women.

Hmm... I wonder if some Shell Super will cheer her up.
try a carnauba wax massage on her...seems to do wonders! maybe she ll even try a new position....like maybe a stoppie?

      how u purchased from delhi??
means how reliable KRP is to transfer 7200 to there account and then they will courier it to me...

or anyone help to find this in mumbai or pune...
The business was very much hazard free. You can trustfully deposit the cash in their account. I had no issue in the shipping to KL. I was corresponding to them via mails to keep a track of stuffs too.

what surprised me more the needle in the tacho is at 0 rpm
then i felt even the speedometer is showing me a bit less(dont know if its just my feeling or not)
after some time the needle in the tacho is moving now then like all of sudden its going from 0 to 6k rpm, playing for sometime between 8-10rpm,then again returned to zero(all this happened when i accelrated the bike from 80 -100 kmph))

finally i reached home parked it for sometime.then again started it..now as usual it idled at 1.4krpm,i revved it and the the play of needle was usual, however i did find time to take it out then.

eagerly waiting for your inputs on this????
        Hey..
It may be due to loose connections with the battery or battery is wearing out as instrument cluster is battery driven. The speedometer has nothing to do any electrical connections as in the rpm meter so it maintained to show you the speed.
Check the battery connections and I think it may work out fine.
It may be due to other reasons but I had experienced something like this on other bike, more experienced Ninja riders help can work out good here.

Check out ninjette.org. I remember someone selling their sparingly used Corbin on eBay for a steal. The member there has posted a link to the eBay deal.

I'd changed my rear tyre to a PSD at 11500 kms... Am currently at ~18.5k (including visits to the track & some long highway trips - not much city riding though). The SDs will last me for quite some time to come.

They definitely inspire more confidence than the stock tyres.

You are very welcome, my friend! And also you are a part of the fastest 250 club!

Ah - and first day without my Ninja. It does feel strange. Very. Not very sad, yet. Perhaps yet to sink in.

                              • chain for ninja

Have done ~27000 kms & during the last regular checkup visit, the service guy found out that the chain has developed anomaly wrt tension. It's showing different chain slack at different places over a full round. So the chain needs to be replaced.
Also get to know that along with chain, I'm supposed to replace the front+rear sprocket as well. (& I thought here we go again...)

Here are the prices of parts quoted by service center:
                                Drive Chain (ENUMA-520-106links) : Rs. 6805.00
                                Front Sprocket ( 14 teeth) : Rs. 1308.00
                                Rear Sprocket ( 43 teeth) : Rs. 2200.00
*All prices are exclusive of taxes, service charge & labor.

Now, looking for options to buy a new chain. eBay & overseas sites are friends here.
Any option at the local shops? (Haven't try them out, will find out soon)
