Also get to know that along with chain, I'm supposed to replace the front+rear sprocket as well. (& I thought here we go again...)

Here are the prices of parts quoted by service center:
    Drive Chain (ENUMA-520-106links) : Rs. 6805.00
    Front Sprocket ( 14 teeth) : Rs. 1308.00
    Rear Sprocket ( 43 teeth) : Rs. 2200.00
*All prices are exclusive of taxes, service charge & labor.

Now, looking for options to buy a new chain. eBay & overseas sites are friends here.
Any option at the local shops? (Haven't try them out, will find out soon)
please remember that your stock chain has done 27,000 kms. so do not mix and match i mean chain / sprocket different types etc. better to replace with PBK suggested stuff unless you want something exotic like from performance racing store etc.

Ah - and first day without my Ninja. It does feel strange. Very. Not very sad, yet. Perhaps yet to sink in.

And it already has a tank full of Shell Super!

    See you Sunday

please give some insight on your next bike, it will truly a difficult time to live till your new " Bahu " comes home. ?

If you can shell out 3 lakh + for a 250cc, the Ninja is the only choice. I don't wanna do comparos in OT.

@ Evershine : congrats. Ride safe.

LOL, good one. And then there's the orange (if you're willing to wait and enjoy wind-blast) :P

[me is rossi] More seriously, you may want to factor the waiting period for the two into your decision.

                      • The engine could'nt start

Hi.. I left her in the dark for the past weekend, its a cold place. So when I tried starting, the Engine would'nt start when I hit the Power botton. I could hear the Self motor trying to start the engine, But she would'nt budge, But after several tries, like for over 15 mins, the engine came to life, so I reved her for a whil, then took her around slow.

I know, i have to drain the oil and other stuffs for a long vacation. But for a weekend, I dont know, if there is a problem here. Whether she have to be heated up to get started, But thats what FI does right... ?? please shed some light on this... Thanks for all your help...

Hi Navi, I'm not an expert so can't really answer your question, but it will help those who are if you mention how cold "cold" is, what oil you're using and whether you've had any (minor) starting trouble before.

Also, I hope you didn't actually "rev" the engine soon after your Ninja started up. This is the top link when I googled "engine wear when cold".

Thanks, EverShine... I never knew that about Engine and cold start...

She is 2800 KMS old, and I am using the DTSI Engine Oil, the PBK guys did the last service. And No I never Had any trouble in starting before, I cant get down to temperature level, But It was raining, so I left her in the Parking lot and she stayed untouched for the weekend. I think thats normal. When I checked with the PBK guys, they said it might be cos of the problem in the petrol flow, maybe it got flodded, But I was not convinced by that answer, So I just wanna hear it from the Experienced Ninja riders here..

                              • Nice!! But I guess full white body with white mudguard and white rear cowl will look better with the black frame.
