[me is rossi] More seriously, you may want to factor the waiting period for the two into your decision. When the body wanders, the mind rests.

The engine could'nt start
Hi.. I left her in the dark for the past weekend, its a cold place. So when I tried starting, the Engine would'nt start when I hit the Power botton. I could hear the Self motor trying to start the engine, But she would'nt budge, But after several tries, like for over 15 mins, the engine came to life, so I reved her for a whil, then took her around slow.
I know, i have to drain the oil and other stuffs for a long vacation. But for a weekend, I dont know, if there is a problem here. Whether she have to be heated up to get started, But thats what FI does right... ?? please shed some light on this... Thanks for all your help...

Also, I hope you didn't actually "rev" the engine soon after your Ninja started up. This is the top link when I googled "engine wear when cold".When the body wanders, the mind rests.

Thanks, EverShine... I never knew that about Engine and cold start...
She is 2800 KMS old, and I am using the DTSI Engine Oil, the PBK guys did the last service. And No I never Had any trouble in starting before, I cant get down to temperature level, But It was raining, so I left her in the Parking lot and she stayed untouched for the weekend. I think thats normal. When I checked with the PBK guys, they said it might be cos of the problem in the petrol flow, maybe it got flodded, But I was not convinced by that answer, So I just wanna hear it from the Experienced Ninja riders here..
