hey guys m having a problem..my bike has started to idle in 7000rpm and it does not return to 1500 at all
i tried loosening my idle adjuster on the left side of the bike,but that didnt help
and when i try to put it in gear and bring it back to 1500 rpm,the engine just turns off
even while starting the bike im having problem..
i am suspecting its the fuel injector for now but is there anyone whose been through this problem?
time to head for service again
my friend was telling me that it might be the throttle sensor..ihope not..
please helpppp

Is your clutch plates gone Pegyal?
And is the FI light blinking?

I do not think that 22k kms is the life for the rear shocker, until and unless you do too much of offroading, which i think you don't.For service centers this is the perfect time to mint money out of your pocket. i would suggest ask one of your fellow N300 rider's to take a test ride and check for the difference. if the rear shock become bad , the rear part of the ninja sits lower compared to others if you keep them side by side.

sorry for the sooper late reply.... but actually yeah, quite a bit of off roading has been done. My bike did Mumbai-Leh-Mumbai (5000 km) of which as u know atleast 2000 km is offroading in JK. It also did 5500 km Mumbai-Kanyakumari-Mumbai, which saw about 1000+ km of off roading. the problem is not the spring itself, but the hydraulic/pneumatic damper, the seals are gone. as a result, the "shock absorbing" part doesn't work. since the spring is ok, it won't sit lower, just that the rear jumps at every pothole/speed breaker. i have purchased a PROGRESSIVE 435 series monoshock. supposed to have similar performance as the OEM ohlin but significantly cheaper. i might be able to fit MRF tyres front and back in the cost difference.

I recently transported my ninja 250r from bangalore to Thrissur by truck and sadly it fell down during transit and has a broken right handle, indicator and some scratches on the fairing. Can anybody throw some light on the cost of the clipons and whether it will be possible to replace one side alone.
Are there any aftermarket clipons available which are cheaper and better and where to source them from??

Yes you can replace one side alone. Cost will be around 4.8k for one side.
Indicator was around 1.6k 6 months ago. Hope it Will Be around the same now too.

It wont fit. Kawasaki Lever costs around Rs.580

it cost me 297 dollars or about 19k.
in the KTM service station, some were quoting it as high as 26k !!!

I myself got mine changed last month. Its Rs.580 for brake lever and 2.3k for clutch lever at ktm

Hey all,
Can anyone suggest an indicator (only the bulb part) which will fit the ninja250? The stock ones cost Rs.2000/- now and TVS Jive ones are not available in Kerala.

Not sure buddy. Injectors I assume will be very costly.

Update on rear brake rotor cost - It is 11988 Rs in Bangalore now.
