Ofcoz you can, but should you? No. The extra 150 ml is accounting for the volume of oil in the Oil cooler.

Actually I have ridden 1 up rest down bikes for almost 20 years in fact my first bike was AdrenoFX which had 1 down 3 up gear set. It's my habit to hit heel pedal by heel for second gear and P220F has somewhat sporty gear pedal i.e. it's directly beneath driver seat, so it's inconvenient for me to engage 2nd gear with toe, hence this mod.

Bro trust me, you can get used to it. I even used only toe sometimes on my Honda Shine, even though it had the heel shifter.

The reason I'm using heel shifter on P220 is that I wear safety shoes for protection while riding and without (I visit auto parts manufacturing companies, so I need those). And given my specific foot and safety shoes, I'm unable to use the toe shifter for upshifts.

It was more if a necessity. But missing to that means you can't use the side stand while on the bike. And since P220 lacks heel shifter, it's designed like that the heel shifter part was fouling with the other things including side stand, even if you find a way around that, then there's the issue that the gears won't shift, it required me to tweak for 2-3 days. Still, upshifts are a lot better with toe shifter.

So I'd request you to not consider this mod, it's easier to just learn to use the toe shifter. It'll take some time getting used to, but you'll have no hassle and smoother upshifts.

Ok bro, I'll see it, btw you are absolutely right about stand position, side and center both stands are situated at the same place where heel pedal should be. It's like a puzzle to fit heel part in it.

    Thanks

It gets even more trouble some, you'll also find that the heel shifter doesn't works as expected due to its fouling with the stands. No matter what you do, it's going to be a problem.

That's why I'm saying, keep it stock, keep it simple.

Bro, I noticed something yesterday which might help you. You see in bikes with heel shifters, the middle part of foot sits on the foot ped. This makes it harder to use the toe shifter. Instead break the habit and put the heel on the foot ped and try the toe shifter then.

Ok bro thanks, now I am getting used to it, in one more week I won't feel awkward using toe shifter.

Ok, after running the new bike to 400kms I have measured mileage of my P220F which comes around 43kmpl which is good looking at the engine figures.

The bike is punchy, and delivers good pickup where it is needed. But the top speed which I have touched so far is 52kmph, that too by mistake on slope of a bridge. The bike as I have heard shines at 50kmph to 120kmph speeds but sigh I'll have to wait till break in completes. The bike is damn comfortable, the reason for which I preferred it over NS/RS.

The problems I have faced so far - right clip on handle bar is a bit loose and accelerator cable is not free, I mean if I turn it up it doesn't go down on its own. These are minor problems. And it is not the proper time to review it but khujli...

Just remove the rubber cap which is at the inside end of the handle bar near the key hole, and tight the Allen key bolt found inside, it will solve the problem. Congratulations on the bike
