although i cannot presently post the pictures but you can open the right side panel with key and see the fuse box besides the battery or you can go to any spares shop and can ask for splendor fuse box and they will give you of swiss which will cost some 40 odd rupees.

Does anyone have a soft copy / PDF of owner's manual or a workshop manual ?

Anyone of the manual will do but a workshop manual would be appreciated more.

Yesterday I bought these from Bansal motors kolkata for 86 Rs total ...

The problem in servicing the air-filter (with me) is the time it takes . Cleaning is just 15-20 mins , but since I use water wash I've to let it dry for one whole day in sun , if sun does shine that day . Can't ride the bike during this time . So now that I have a set of spare air-filter elements , I can just keep them ready (cleaned, dried and oiled in a zip-seal bag) and change out the one on the bike in 10 mins flat anytime . Then I can clean & dry the soiled one and keep it ready for the next change, at my leisure . Better idea than a spare underwear ?

Note the new genuine "HeroMoto Corp" label with hologram strip on right . Watch out for it in the parts you buy now on .

    LOL

A mechanic at the service center cleaned the filter using petrol during the free services.
After the free services were over I started servicing the bike myself.
To my surprise I found out that the filter's foam broke down into small particles and clogged the carburetor, hose from air-box to carburetor was lined with these particles.
    I had to clean everything.

REMEMBER- Never clean the filters using petrol or any low flash-point liquids.
Use diesel, kerosene or preferably hot soap water.

Lol shoeb'jee , serves you damn ryt for not reading the owner's manual . Jus kidding . Yes , I use kerosene to break-down the old oil first , then wash it away with detergent & warm water and dry it in sun . If you read back on this thread , I've posted the procedure a few pages back .

Replaced the following items on my DAD's passion plus as the engine was making khrrr sound from the left side of the engine.

Cam chain aka timing chain -Rs.103/-
    Chain center guide -Rs.48/-
    Chain Tensioner guide -Rs.46/-
    Labor charges -Rs.60/-

(Guides replaced as they were made up of rubber and it gets hardened overtime and usually develops cracks)
