CR6HGP is do ing the work like a charm.

Leaves no deposits on the tip, stays clean without any periodic requirement for removal of red/ white substance and does not foul, at all.

What is the experience using this one higher heat range plug in Splendor/+ ?

Would a good road side mechanic be able to perform this.
I dont have trust on the authorized service center

My bike is failing puc too , so i told the mechanic to get that thing sorted i service .
His reply was same sir your engine needs work of 8-8.5k , unless you do that it will keep failing .
Am thinking of changing my mechanic and try a different one.
I feel this one is trying to rip me off.
Also if i get timing changed will this noise go away, its making a lot of noise now the timing chain.

So i dont need to get the work done of 8-8.5 k that the mechanic is saying about ?

Now I am in 2 minds what to do with the bike to sell it or keep for 3 more years and sell it as scrap.
Or should I take a second opinion from different mechanic.
I will try to upload the video of the engine noise by evening.
It seems that your ismart 110 is from the first production year and yes its an inherent problem of the engine. Hero had noted this timing chain problem and updated the engine on the ismart+, passion pro 110 & passion X pro. On the newer bikes, if you look closely you can find an external timing chain tensioner on the cylinder block which is absent on your bike. You can consult Hero ASC and inquire whether its possible to fit the new updated cylinder block. But it may cost a lot. The best idea would be to exchange it at the same dealer and buy a new BS6 bike.

Same plug is recommended in the manual of my 2010 Passion Pro but CR7HSA and CR7HGP are not available anymore sir. I have been using CR6HSA in my Passion Pro for the last 50K km. It feels the best for Passion Pro.

earlier i had 2.5 am battery then switched to 4am.
The problem may be that you have fitted a larger capacity battery so it's not charging up enough within your riding time . See , a battery is like a water-tank . As it is Splendor/Passion charging system is marginal . With a larger water tank you need more water ( charging ) to fill it up fully . A always partially charged battery will not last . For optimal battery life it must be kept near full charge all the time . With a 4-5AH battery you'll need to ride your bike about twice the time to fully charge it , compared to a 2.5AH one . My advise is to revert to stock 2.5AH battery . When you're fitting new battery you can ask battery-shop to check your charging voltage , they'll do it for free .

I was thinking of getting timing chain replaced and continue using the bike for another 6 months or so and then upgrade to 200cc segment. Do you think it would be a good idea to get timing chain replaced and continue using the bike for another 6months or so .

The premature timing chain noise is due to a major design flaw in the engine. Yours is not the only bike affected. Almost all Ismart 110 from first production year has this issue. It's truly unfortunate and frustrating for it's customers. Hence I cannot guarantee you that replacing the timing chain will solve the issue. Hero had added an external timing chain tensioner in the later models like Ismart 110 plus & Passion Pro 110. But now Hero has stopped producing that 110cc engine altogether. The BS6 Ismart has an all new 113 cc engine and the chassis is also new.

The best thing to do is to get rid of that bike as soon as possible. The longer you keep it, the faster its value will depreciate and the more headache it would give. And for your next purchase its better to avoid any new product from Hero as they are yet to prove themselves. At the moment only their 100cc bikes are trust worthy. In the 200cc segment, go for the time tested and proven products.
