Cant go for long rides. Stuck with it. Also it is so hard to find the dam tube in the market that really it is a pain.
Set aside the tyre. One of my friends bike is standing I his house since 3 weeks now as there is no tube available here.
BAJAJ please give us tubeless tyres.
You're absolutely right. Even ceat and mrf tyre centers don't have the tube. They're saying it's not available coz it's new bike. I had to search at a famous tyre market here where I could finally get a ceat rear tube for ₹ 800.

        like the UM Renegade Commando,

Also Which type of front fork is used in the UM Renegade, the backside of the headlight what it is called ?

It is possible to put it on avenger street 220 ?

          Hi Guys,

I got the first servicing done recently @750km and will soon cross 1k mark. One thing that I observed is the gears have become little harder than earlier, is it normal? And is it safe to go past the running in speed limit of 60kmph after 1k km? Or should I wait until 2k kms?

I hope you are not using the engine oil of bajaj. If so then with obvious reasons your gear shift will be hard as there engine oil is bad I mean really bad. For me there is only one engine oil and believe me friends the bike is really ultra smooth as well as the gear shifts.
            The engine oil is

Try is it is for all be it avanger 150 or 220.
            You will thank me.

@arjunb25- i have tried this oil-but for myself i have found the best results of engine smoothness and slick gearshifts with VALVOLINE 4T 20w50 SN Semi Synthetic and have stuck with it for the last three years-please note that the Elf gold is SM grade and the Valvoline is a higher SN grade oil-do try it for yourself-as it is our machines deserve the best from us

I got the bajaj oil only as I got it serviced at their ASC. Didn't go for other oil coz it's not advised to use semi synthetic or synthetic oil for the first 10k kms. Not sure how to solve this issue. [emoji30]

Brothers.. I am using avenger 150 since 3 months.. 4k on ODO.. And 1st service done.. 2nd coming soon. I am facing some vibrations in bike the moment I cross 65 sometimes.. Rest bike is super smooth Also continously getting mileage of 33 to 36.. Riding in mumbai roads with heavy traffic.. I also went to service centre and thy adjusted carburettor.. But again mileage remains the same.
Can u guys pls help me, how shall I increase the millage. Is such mileage normal in heavy traffic?

Now this oil is not available in my city best reason known to them. I am happy with the oil I am using as I am using this oil sonde like 12 years. As this is my 6 bajaj bike.

Oh this engine oil which I mentioned is a mineral oil. Firstly as I said 20 w 50 that's mineral. 15 w 50 is semi synthetic big no no for now later on ok. 10 w 50 fully synthetic oil not recommended for 150 higher bikes like 300 cc +.

I just did my 1 servicing today, 630 km in my odometer and cost me just 400 bucks. They changed the engine oil (bajaj 20W50), tighten my chain and rear brake and a wash which was pretty ok. Now, i definitely can feel the engine performing better, i can hear that the engine is more refine and smoother than before. I can ride the bike in 4th gear at 30kmph without the engine knocking and thats a pretty good feeling for me. Overall i am pretty much satisfied with the performance of my motorcycle so far and hopefully after the running IN period is over i can rev up and speed up more to further enjoy my ride. Since our motorcycle doesn't have a proper engine oil filter, we need to change the oil in the right time before the dirty oil detoriate and affect the performance of the motorcycle.

                              Hey Guys,
My Black Pearl(a recent pic of my Avenger Street 220, pic attached...have done slight modifications) is close to 7months old with close to 9200kms on the ODO.
I am planning for a 1k+ KMs ride.
Wanted to know if I should get the servicing done before I commence the journey or after ending.

Also, would be great if somebody can list the tools/spares I need to carry for emergency purpose.

Thanks for the help on advance

A change of oil shows proper value of it after 200 km. The real thing of an engine oil shall be seen then right now enjoy this bajaj oil till 200 km then you will be the one who shall say that my gear shift is hard. Trust me on this have gone through and after all research and all I have never gone back on this engine oil by bajaj. Ask anyone out here they will surely give there verdict on the bal engine oil.
Yes there are thousand time better engine oils out there in the market. 20 w 50. .. trust me bro it is my old experience saying. Anyways up to you enjoy the ride good luck.
