Required some info on the Chennai Track

Kari Track at CBE is not free unlike the MMSC track at chennai. Also there is no pay and practise scheme at Kari. YOu have to strike some deal or rent the trak for an entire day.
Best is to land at chennai and have some fun by paying per session. Works cheaper and the track is better than Kari.

do we need to book in advance for kari track.. anyone has any info?

But normally just need to have bike license (and paid). But i think that is only for special races, not for all TVS races. I will ask because i don't know more.

Previously (last year), I have asked if there is available bike for rent on the track , but they said no.
I know only that, maybe other people here have better informations.

Yes, the road is ok, i go often to Chennai by bike (every month) for personal things...
But i go to the track for practicing not for riding on the road. And if something go wrong on the track, maybe not possible to come back by bike...
For the moment i am doing it with my bike which i use every days. But when i will get my racing suit, I will take another bike just for the track (i don't know what for the moment, maybe one used RTR FI from one friend) and remove few part and after that maybe no legal to use it on the road...
And also, when i come back from the track, i am tired and bored by riding on public road...

Tomorrow i will go again by bike, but i prefers to go by truck (more safe, less tired, can bring more things...) but that is little to much expensive for me alone.

First practicing day on Sunday 26th April.
I am using my mp3 player with one sound recorder function for getting my laps time. The recorder is in my tank bag, and i hit the bag when crossing end line... I have started to turn in 2m54s per lap (full track) at the end of half day (37 laps after) i turned in 2m40s (Pulsar 150cc).
Track director said me there is one magnetic laptimers system. But i don't know where to get recording system to put on my bike (in India).
I know one brand because famous in France, that is Alfano Alfano data acquisition .
There is something similar here ? or need to get that from foreign?
Somebody know where i can see laps time from other people ? Like i saw somewhere in this forum, RTR FI and R15 (factory) can do it in 2m05s (full track)...
