I happened to see a HyperEdge near my office. When I came out of the hotel after having dinner, a black HE was parked next to my RTR180. The stickers look good. The bike as a whole doesnt look much different. AFAIK, the changes in looks are - the new stickers, same rear fender as 180, same handle bar weights... waited for some 15 mins hoping to meet the owner, but to no avail...Comment

Yeah thats what... Despite having a bigger RTR you waited for a complete stranger to know more about the bike... is a faint indicator!

TVS and Hero Honda are crazy friends from a long time.
TVS does some techno freak thing,Hero Honda stickers Honda engines.....
But now TVS is stepping in the HH way totally.
But TVS shouldn't really discontinue the RTRFi(in another news I have heard that Karizma R has been stopped too by Hero Honda !!!).......for this

Finally i rode the HYPER EDGE today. I couldnt rip the bike as the bike was new and the chain was a bit loose and was making some weird noises. Anyways i liked the grunt. Basically it felt completely same as the RTR 160 but the main difference was that there were very less vibrations compared to the old RTR. I liked the power delivery too throughout the rev range. Though i wont call it as an upgrade but this could very well can be called as the RTR refresh. Now it a good option for the riders who used to ignore the RTR because of the vibes
