Post Suzuki to launch new bike on August 25th

Suzuki has sent us an preliminary invitation for a press conference in Delhi on August 25. This isnít a formal invitation but a notice to keep ourselves free on the 25th.

It says ďSMIPL will be holding a press conference in Delhi on 25th August 2010 (Wednesday) for an important announcement. Ē

Suzuki will send us a formal invitation shortly containing more details of the event which clarify if this is a new product launch or otherwise.

Suzuki launched the Gixxer in the India back in June. It has spoken about new motorcycles over the next few years. Besides the imports, Suzuki sells bikes like Heat, Zeus, GS150R and Access 125 scooter.

Could the Suzuki Slingshot 125 be unveiled on the 25th?

That's great news many new models being launched by bike manufacturers in india this gives a wide option for different kind of users but at times it also makes me much worried when some makers just do some cosmetic changes with no significant changes(like improving ride quality or FE or performance) and put a heavy price tag than previous model like the zmr which has a fairing and fi but no changes in any section mentioned above but still heavy price difference from zma-R

"Fi" tech doesn't come cheap bro..

By the way I am sure that the ZMR is selling more (among majority of its customers) for its "cosmetic" full fairing than its "Fi" tech.
    After all, this is India.

Yep, the "Fuel Injected" Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi, RTR 160 Fi and now the Karizma ZMR has proved that the "Fi" tech doesn't do much for the peak power and torque ratings.

Coming back to the topic.. yes, I expect the Sling Shot to officially make an appearance.

I disagree on the FI bit... the rights word could probably be "couldnt do"
