The current model is ~ 90k. So pricing the new one at 1.4 L without any engine/major mechanical change is most unlikely. Bajaj is not known to charge a hefty brand premium anyways and have always relied on the VFM preposition!

If they price that avenger at 1.4 lakhs people won't even bother to hear about that bike anymore

I learnt from my dealer today by when we will be seeing the new avanger at the dealership he said minimum 20 days from today you can lay yours hand on it, but not before that more over the first lot which is going to come will be a 150 cc based on the engine of pulsar as150 which is also been confirmed by the dealer. Is this true guys or he is just pulling my leg.
Anyways what I am eagerly waiting Is for the upcoming street avanger.
The real causing will start after getting my hands on that. As the staff who went for the training told me that street which has alloys as we have seen the spy pictures which are rolling all over the net is also going to have a tubeless tyres and it will be less in price of the current bullet classic 350.
But seriously I think bullet is bullet now doubts sorry no offence to anyone. I like avanger hence going in for this bike soon but I will wait after the bike is launched to see if all is good with the bike or not. As we have always seen when ever any company brings in the new lot there is some thing or the other which needs a big time correction to it.

Remains to be seen which is this "new" executive motorcycle brand? "New" as in English sense or as in Bajaj sense. In Bajaj sense it may be the caliber, wind, or XCD again. Whatever that be, the DTSi strapped on a bike less than 125cc won't pay much dividends. In case of one of their former brands, the fizzle will be over in 6 months and if it is a really all new bike, it may last up to an year. Looks interesting.

Bajaj is expected to launch its new range of Avenger motorcycle on 27th October 2015.

Earlier we have reported that Bajaj will launch a face lifted Avenger motorcycle in Indian two-wheeler space in order to jump up the sales figures at 20,000 units per month from current 4000 units.

We are expecting the new range of Avenger Motorcycles could have Avenger 150, Avenger 220 and a Avenger street or Black. Just like the recently launched Bajaj Pulsar Adventure Sports 150 and 200. It is expected that the new Avenger will also come with a 150cc variant and the existing 220cc variant with some added chrome on it whereas the Avenger Street/black could be the variant dipped into mono tone matte black paint job.

We are also hoping to get some safety features like rear disk brake or ABSnew executive motorcycle brand which will be positioned alongside the Discover.

As per our report in October 1st week Bajaj currently holds 19% market share in motorcycle segment and plans to increase it to 23% by FY16 end.

I am seriously waiting for the street model to come but came to know from the dealer here in my city that the company is bringing in there first lot of 150cc avanger in the market where as there second lot will be of 200cc but the street will be in 2016 after expo where the price which they are saying is something very good for the street model which would be like 1, 20, 000 rs. Somewhere in this range.
Well that would be nice if they bring in this range.

But the bike is really good as been told by the service guys who have already gone for the training. But the problem is that there is no change in the chassis which is very bad I was thinking that they will do bring out something good on this. As the pictures which are coming in all over the net of the street model clearly shows no change except the silensor.

Let's see hope they do justice to us by bringing in something good and a trouble free cruiser for us. As I am really looking forward to grab my hands on this machine. Hopefully next year as soon as they bring in the street in the market.

But the "street" series is just a variant of the existing Avenger brand....I think they will launch a separate brand instead of calling the street series of cruisers a brand!

I think the new brand that they are talking about is nothing but Street series cruisers.
