Icon7 Confirmation news about Kawasaki Ninja 250SL and Kawasaki Z250SL from KTM Showroom

Went to one of the KTM showroom in Kerala to test ride RC200 and RC390. The showroom guy told me that the test drive motorcycle will be coming next week and he
will inform me once it arrives. Will post the pictures and details once it arrives. He also said a good news that the Kawasaki Ninja 250SL and Kawasaki Z250SL will be coming to their showroom by end of this year or first quarter of 2015. But the price will be between 2 Lakh and 3 Lakh as it is imported.
The Ninja will cost around Rs 30000 more than the Z version. Every other specs are somewhat the same.

Smile Re: Confirmation news about Kawasaki Ninja 250SL and Kawasaki Z250SL from KTM Showroo

Topic has to be closed unfortunately.

    Dear Vysakh,

In the past, many dealers and salesperson have been known to share company related info, that has proved to be wrong later on. Be it Fuel injected Achiever or Karizma 250. Be it Gladiator 165 or FZ250. Be it the all revvy R6, or the not so angry FZ6.

Sometimes, it is just a rumor spread by someone with or without a motive.
At other times, companies make plans for these products, but seeing the changing market, or their own workload, or other business issues like parts supply, pricing, etc, they refrain from actually launching it. Yes, planned products get cancelled too.

The point is that while the news may be true, a source of this type can't be fully trusted. But, thanks for sharing this as it opens a new thought in our minds. Frankly speaking, it does make a lot of sense or Kawasaki launching it here.
