Similar to DRLs but unlike the so called DRLs of today which need to be switched on separately, these would switch on with the ignition. Just like them SBKs.

Yeah very true even my friends who have sbks when we go out for a ride even I switch on my headlights people coming from front as I am left behind show me hands that my head lights are on.

Same as we see in audi cars as when they switch on the led lights which are placed under the headlights if this comes then very good.

Let's hope that the government brings in some good points to save lives out there.

Seriously dude, what a stupid thing to even think. I can't even begin to tell you the number of clowns on two wheels whom I have near misses daily in my car or on my bike, just because the spastics don't have lights on or working lights.
Great move, maybe introduce road discipline would also help.
