they already have a very good tire in the 110/70 size, i.e. the Revz FC (or the newer Revz FC1) - the one that comes on the Ktm 200's.
and probably the same reason they have not launched a 150/60 size too..
forget the marketing terms.. the 150/60 and 110/70 revz c/fc/c1/fc1 are similar rounded profile and a soft-ish compound with good grip.
the masseter seems to be targeted at other motorcycles that did not use the 150 and 110 sizes, and this market is huge.
Just because it has a different sub-brand let's not assume the existing one (revz c) is bad or this is better. To me, it seems they made the right decision in not duplicating their tires (150 or 110 size) under different sub-brands.

    Installed masseter tyre on my pulsar 220. 80/90 R17 front for 1700Rs. 120/80 R17 rear for 3000Rs.
More round profile compared to vyde will surely help in cornering.

Still yet to see the Masseter on shelves. I've been running on a pair of Revz C and FC for the last 10K+ kms. Offers more bang for the buck, and even though the rear is 150, there is no noticeable difference in speed/mileage. They've updated the model as Revz FC1 and C1 now. Got mine for 5500 a pair in September.

Kindly help me understand, are Masseter Tyres Radial? Tyredekho.com states its radial but MRF no where mentioned that they are. I ride an AS200 with 100/80-17 up front and 130/80-17 at the rear with the worst stock tyres ever made, the 'Euroslips'. I want to change to an all weather (specially wet road) radial and upgrade to 110/140 respectively. Any advice?

    Massater is a bias-ply tyre.

I am sorry, I am not technically sound in understanding the jargon. My earnest request to please make understand in layman's terms. What is bias-ply anyway?

Why Order? It is readily available at Nashik tyres @ Ashok Stambh and Another large MRF shop on ITI Ambad road near DHL whose name I don't remember.

Just change both tyres on my P220 to Stock MRFs (Zapper FY and Zapper C) yesterday, didn't feel the need for Masseters for my kind of usage.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

And mrf dealer at karvenagar dint had front 80/90 so had to wait for it...
I will be installing them tomorrow morning.

I expect more grip than zapper on roads from them hopefully
