Details of A new 2019 BMW R 1250 GS have emerged online. Yes, 1250 GS i.e. BMW has revised the design of the famous boxer engine. According to the source of this information, the boxer twin will have an increase in displacement from 1,170cc to 1,254cc. This will also yield an increase of 11 bhp in the power department for a total of 134 bhp. The r 1250 GS is also rumored to get a new cylinder-head and VVT (Variable valve Timing).
The new BMW R 1250 GS is not expected to differ from its predecessor dramatically. Also expected, is a slight increase in weight around 4-5 kgs which shouldn’t be a bother. The physical dimensions may just be a fraction bigger and longer than the outgoing model but these changes are also going to be subtle.

The 2019 BMW R1250GS is expected to debut at the INTERMOT show in October. And, it will likely be accompanied by new R1250GS Adventure and R1250RT motorcycles as well, with either of those machines debuting at INTERMOT or later in November at EICMA.
With the R1200 bikes being BMW Motorrad’s top-sellers, it isn’t hard to believe that there are high expectations for this new boxer engine.
