Around 30 Horse power would be good, if someone like me wants to upgrade. Of course, the relaxed seating posture and dual channel ABS would be welcome upgrades for everyone.
250s and r15 dont feel all that different when you ride them instead of looking at the spec sheet. So I moved onto d390.

If you can budget definitely look at d390 or cb300r.

About seating position of r15, i miss it from time to time. With duke you really have to trust bike to hold on while with r15, i used to just lean as much as I could without a second thought. Duke range definitely has a learning curve and is difficult to ride fast across bends initially.

Agreed bro. Not much difference in power is the major obstacle in otherwise good upgrade.

I have been riding the V2 for past 5 years and have no intension of letting it go anytime soon. Nothing I have ridden yet has come close to the handling of the V2. The only reason I would consider replacing it would be the pillion seat, if I get married in the near future.

I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

I was very disappointed by this launch,Being a Gixxer 150 owner myself.I would like to see many of these on our roads.but i feel sad seeing the numbers of suzuki bikes falling.I was waiting for this launch eagerly but i felt Suzuki has missed an opportunity.Apart from the good looks,I don't see anything special to command an hefty premium over Yamaha's 250cc Engine. I have ridden the FZ25 and was really pleased by the motorcycle,The performance is not outright fast but you will be very happy with complete package and it is keeper that ages gracefully. Lets us see how Suzuki gixxer 250 twins fare against them. Already Yamaha FZ-S v3.0 is pulling up amazing sales in the 150cc segment.

250CC is the new 150CC! People are not too excited about new launches imo.
Almost all the Japs have their presence in India now. Gixxer 150 has been a good bike. Hope the 250 follows.

Those who are disappointed with the 250 should definitely look at Dominar or KTMs for better package. I have a P220 and I'm super excited to ride the Gixxer 250. It is a simple bike with easy maintenance(hopefully) and longevity. It is not a sportsbike so comparison with V3 is absolutely pointless. Compare this with CBR, RS or Fazer 250. There is no bike at this price point that offers this good specs with least complicated technicals. It is a Suzuki so longevity comes with them. No need for tension of coolant or complicated engine work when needed. Radiator fins bending and overheating and all those painful stuff would be gone. It comes with dual channel ABS, has FI and from the looks of it, decent headlight and seating.
I'd trade my P220 for the Gixxer 250 for the price and offering.

Yeah, but imo, pulsar 220 makes more sense than gixxer 150 , if mileage is not considered. Pulsar 220 is a non complicated sports tourer

Gixxer 250 is the next lateral upgrade with smoother gearbox, shinier headlight and the best part of dual channel ABS.
And I am 100% sure Suzuki quality would be a couple levels up than Bajaj.

It is BS4 as of now but I think it complies with the BS6 norms too.

Its already BS6 compliant but its being registered as BS4 for this year and then next year when BS6 becomes mandatory, the bike will be registered as BS6.

Its a nice little scam that Suzuki is running and no one at the Launch Event bothered to ask about this.
