Ninja 250 is here... Finally!
Seen here for the first time in India, are the pics of Bajaj's production ready version of the Kawasaki quarter litre motorcycle! And as you can see, the Indian authorities have once again managed to degrade the beauty of this Japanese machine by forcing the loud front number plate in the most ungainly position ever. Yet to come is the all-so-important saree guard which will deteriotate its sporty stance further.
The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

I have some info to share:
1) Launch date will be around 3rd week of October 2009.
2) 50 CKD units from Thailand will be assembled/have been assembled in the Chakan plant.
3) Bangalore will take priority for sales, followed by Delhi and/or Mumbai. No idea about Pune or other cities.
4) Pricing is around the 3L mark. No idea about exact figure, whether over or below 3L.
Note: This info was passed on to me for public consumption. In case there are changes in the end, please do not lynch the messenger
That said, this info is pretty much solid.
The thread is being opened for sometime. If there is any unnecessary deviation from topic, I'm watching this thread with a hawk eye and will be shut down immediately."Tough times never last, but tough people do." - Robert Schuller
