    Hello all,

I am a soon to be owner of the Z900 - actually, it was to be delivered today but due to some issues at the RTO end, it is being registered and delivered only on Monday.

I am happy to see that almost everybody who have ridden this bike are quite positive and from that perspective, I believe I have made the right decision.

I will try and pen down the purchase experience and my first thoughts about the bike as soon as I take delivery and ride it for a few days.

    Cheers!
    Krish

Visiting the thread after 6 months or so, Full system exhaust(Arrow) installed with the BMC air filter.
Complete installation procedure has been documented in my video- https://youtu.be/i1vavTBBOnQ

    Hi all
I am planning to buy a used Kawasaki z800 but I have a few questions regarding it before I take the leap.

    1. First and foremost I'll be upgrading to it from using an RC 200 previously for about 8k KMS. Would the power of the z800 be overwhelming or too much in this case?

    2. Mileage is not an issue however I'm curious to know about the figures owners are getting in city/highway rides.

    3. Maintenance and spare parts availability are also a concern along with Average service cost every year with 12,000 KMS riding every year.

    4. I intend to use this bike as a daily commuter in Bangalore...would it be appropriate or would it be very uncomfortable given its weight?

All and any answers to this is much appreciated !

    Cheers!!

    - Not much, the throttle response is aggressive like the RC

    2. Mileage is not an issue however I'm curious to know about the figures owners are getting in city/highway rides.
    - Expect 18-25

    3. Maintenance and spare parts availability are also a concern along with Average service cost every year with 12,000 KMS riding every year.
    - Usual spare parts 2-3 days, body parts and metal parts - 3-4 weeks

    - Can get hot in b2b traffic, as long as you are ok with the throttle response you should be good.

All and any answers to this is much appreciated !

    Cheers!!
    Replied above..

Edited - Dude make up your mind between the z650, z800, z900, or z1000. Each bike has its own behavior and mannerism
