Any Jaso FC or above approved is fine; if its from Castrol, there's nothing like it. But if you get one, pls let me know. Why don't you consider Shell 2T oil?

if the oil pump is working fine no worries, just add 10-15 ml / ltr in the tank for the time being in case the pump foul play. important to to do a proper running in

also check for rust in the petrol tank, use a petrol filter

    good luck

These are the only 2t oil brands available in my city. BTW we get loads of duplicate / subparagraph castrol oil here that's what killed my bike's engine :-(

    Get a 2T oil from Y.A.S.S & you'll be sure; I heard Yamaha's 2T & Kinetic's 2T are one at the same.

Castrol's Power 1 TT is superior to others in the market because it contains PIB,a chemical that improves even atomisation and combustion with minimal deposits.
It is better to go for NEW STOCK BORE AND PISTON because the rebore ,and honing is usually not done properly..If you are confident it will be done properly then go ahead.
Do not weld any parts in crankshaft,as it will upset weight balancing done at factory...may lead to early failure of moving parts in the engine, and also excessive vibration.

    +1

If its simple hammering for aligning, then its ok, otherwise get a new one, costs about 3K; peace of mind is free

Guys I checked the 2t oil pump yesterday and I think it is busted as well, revving up the engine to almost max and it does not spew out any oil!!?!? So I think I will have to replace it, but I am now like what if I keep premixing the 2t into the petrol this way I will save the money on the replacement pump and save the petrol tank from gathering rust? What do you guys think? Replacement pump won't come cheap that's for sure, my premonition is it'll run me down to at least 3k or something.

Another thing I wanted to ask, the rear shocks are pretty much busted the shocker repair guy says they need a new set of pumps. I was thinking should I go with the dual spring type shox that come with Bajaj Discover or should I get the stock shocks repaired? Road conditions in my city are pretty bad filled with pit-holes etc etc it's more like roads in pit-holes not pit-holes in roads
