H kb100 ya you are right there where many variants of this small 2stroke power machine
    1) zundapp cs50 was launched (with fairing, with indicator's)
    2) enfiled explorer cs50 (without fairing, indicator)
    3) enfiled explorer electronic ( again without fairing and indicators)
the 3rd one electronic is what i have got my hands laid onand ya my plans to go ahead is a machine looking very close to this below

ya now i am checking the cost and every thing is expensive than the Rx100 spares ofcourse my next restoration project will be my heartbeat which never fades the '86 Rx100

Thanks Balji, guys now i have dismantled the bike and now the action starts... Now i will forst start by slowly disassemble the parts one by one and save it like a treasure /gold because u can buy gold but these parts are not available in pudupet now i seriously dont know wha to do if sme parts gets misplaced when dooing sandblast / zinc plating.

my next plan is to give the frame, fasteners, then take all plastic parts and give to the graphics guy for taking the trace of orginal stickers because these stickers have some unique font especialy the side shield which has electronic written and unimaginable those days they had designed this innovative sticker matching with its name "electronic"

then i have to give the tank and rear mudgaurd to the tinkering guy for taking bend and then have to select the paint color matching to this blue bike in the picture which I had attached any suggestions for the shade of blue ?

then all the crome parts like silencer pipe shot and long , front mudgaurd and handlebar has to be plated oops i forgot this has alloys ha ha i forgot i have to paint the alloys to the orginal glory the metalic grey amd then comes the engine head to be matched with same grey Along with gearbox, chain cover.

Nice list you have bro. Do post the pics of the process.

    Btw its Balgi not Balji.

I have seen the bike many times but never in good condition. Most of the times not even in running condition. I am yet to come across a well maintained one. You can ask @powertwin for tips. He is quite a respected member of this community and he loves to restore two wheelers. I think he has an explorer in his collection if I'm not wrong.

    Hi Eminemjohn,

Nice to see a decent Enfield Explorer... my 2 cents ..never ever loose any accessories. seat grab rail, saree guard. list out the things you are looking for so that fellow xbhpian can help you finding those spares.

Yes I agree with @vijaymeyou. Don't loose even so much as an old rusted nut. Trust me if you loose something you'll have to go to the ends of the earth to find it and still chances of you finding it are slim at best. If nothing at least the old rusted bits and bobs will be important for sizing and as examples for lathe cutting.

Just a query though, being a 2-stroke machine, Will this comply to the emission norms as per today once the bike is restored. Sorry for this dumb question.

"electronic" implies that the bike came with an electronic ignition system (cdi) , the explorer wasnt the only one sporting it the chetaks and bajaj autos also came adorned with emblems saying electronic /12v electronic

Nope. But who cares its an old out of production bike. Trust me if Rx's and samurais can run on the roads no problem then this bike will be fine.
