    Meet Mr. Late to wakeup
Woke up to the ringing of my cell, eyelids felt like weight were tied to them. It was rishabh calling to ask where I was . I asked him the time and was quite shocked to get to know that it was 5:00. I thought of skipping the bath and told him that I'm slipping into my jeans right now and will be on the road in 10 minutes, to which he replied ok. Quickly got up and brushed my teeth and thought to myself that I'm probably not gonna be having a bath tomorrow, and with the way I'm smelling right now those guys won't even sleep in the same room as me. So decided to take a quick shower. Came out and saw 4 missed calls on the cell, all from rishabh. Quickly got some clothes on and I was on the road by 5:40.

I had never ridden in the early hours of the day when the sun hasn't even shown it's face. I take took the same route I take everyday for office, still everything seemed different. Maybe it was the absence of the sun or the absence of traffic, or maybe the feeling that you have at the start of a trip, whatever it was, made me view the familiar route in a completely unseen way. It was a good start for the tour.

Reached aiims at 6:00 and found the group waiting for me. Zishan was furious with me, and rightly so, I was an hour late. I didn't even take the lid off for a coffee and we were on our way to lansdowne. Some pics at aiims nescafe:

Rishabh had bolted on a makeshift cellfone carrybag onto the steering of his bike to help us with the directions via GPS. A very wise move on his part.

    Bye-Bye Delhi
We were maintaining average speeds of about 80clicks since the traffic was light and suddenly Rishabh signaled to stop. I thought in my mind that he wants to confirm that we're heading in the right direction or not. We parked our bikes on the side of the road and I went up to him. His display was blinking and he said that this was due to a low battery. I thought to myself, hmm a problem this early...is this a sign of things to come by?. I asked him if this has happened before, he promptly replied that it's due to the mobile charging device that he has connected in order to charge his cell while on the run as GPS drains quite a lot of battery, and couple with then projectors that he has installed, the battery sometimes dies out. I thought to myself, that stock is best . Anyways I asked him to keep his lights off and continue riding, the battery will get charged in an hour or so of riding time, and we were riding again. By 6:40 we had reached Dilshad Garden.

Took a right and ghaziabad was just 20 kms away, it came and went in a jiffy and at 7:30 we were at the T junction which would take us to meerut. Took a left here after asking directions from locals.

Soon after we encountered fog which we were anticipating. But the density of the fog was what we didn't anticipate. I was in the lead and with visibility reduced to just a couple of meter in front we were riding slowly. Stopped amidst the fog to click some pics and then carried on. This time a bit faster at about 40kmph but still really cautious. Some pics:

    The 15 gets clicked again...

Darn those projectors do look awesome

    Yellow Yellow dirty fellow

    Some pics from the halt:

After about 3kms of dense fog, it was back to visible conditions and we verified our directions at a police chowki. A pic:

The rest of the log will be uploaded soon. Sorry for being sooooo soooo late with this log friends.

I could've sworn that I updated this thread. Seems like I'd have to write the whole thing again, crap!
