Travelling Himachal at night for anyone is risky specially for bikers. Yes, Nalagarh and many areas in Himachal are risky due to paranormal activities. Even black magic still exist here in Himachal.

I know how it feels while travelling at night and you feel something wrong.
Yes, Vikas. We a encountered stream/ small river sort of. There was construction activity going on, I guess. Couldn't see much because of darkness. It was one hell of a freak ride.

So we reached Bilaspur which is about 30 odd kms from Swarghat. The main attraction there is Govindsagar lake which is a HUGE lake which can be seen from the roads up in the hills. It's a HUGE lake. One can do bating there. There are several sports complex built around the lake promoting different sports.

    titanic busy with his shooting

The lake, the boat, the camera & titanic

Jokes apart. Guys! tremendous trip, beautiful pictures and nice job with the log. A trip in the Himachal and that too in the night is a daring one. Thankfully, you didn't came across any ghosts or they will die again if they saw you people riding in nights

You took the Pinjore - Baddi - Nalagarh - Swarghat route, which is the worst route one can take to Swarghat, and that too at night. I'd call it unawareness taking that route at night as there are a lot of paranormal incidents on that particular route! I have heard stories, true stories, from a lot of people about indescribable events occurring between Nalagarh - Swarghat. I am surprised no-one stopped you (locals or cops that is !

Nonetheless, jo jeeta vahi sikandar! Congrats for pulling it off!

I hope now on you will plan your trips/routes more carefully, Google baba can surely you tell the way but can't tell you such facts about the way. So now on please consult seasoned long riders like Kurt prior to venturing into such territories.

Anyway, I am really glad that you managed to break the mundane daily life routine and escaped to the beauty of Mountains, how I wish I could do something on same line.
Bas yaar aur mat darao, that time i wasn't afraid but now I have started. I don't think that i'll dare to go to that route now. That time was feeling fun as didn't know anything and was totally on Dada(will go wherever he leads, ). And was looking fun also as riding alone in dark, silent road.
Finally what's done is done, have given some learning...

Agree to that Bandhav. The trip plan was done at very last moment. Asked Titanic too at last. There are times when a man has to encounter such difficulties to test his limit. I had initially planned this trip alone & I swear I would have returned to Delhi & no way I would have dared cross that stretch.

How happy to see your post. How can you be so busy not to meet atleast in one recent G2G. Did you leave biking & now concentrating only on photography?
