I really admire the passion and advenure spirit of you both,Sir. I wish You a speedy recovery and many more successful adventures and trips. Glad to know that the bike held up very well.
+1 to all those advices you gave on offroading.
I too recently undertook a similar on/off road trip, but all alone. I rode on some rough and tough terrain in the forest. Being alone, I got pretty scared and backed out early without any incidents. Am not skilled as you are nor am I experienced enough, so called it a day and came home safely. I wish to do more such trips but only with some company, not alone.

    A pic from that trip:

we should know our limits or when to back out some times it saves the day. for me it was after my bike fell in water and just no question of riding it thereafter. but the bike is a true off roader and worth every penny that i have spend on it. hopefully i should do more much more with my impulse as the bike was taken by me just for the purpose it has been designed.

I would say quite a ride, good to hear all 3 of you are safe and secure.
The place looks magnificent. Can I ask you to try out a 2nd ride to the same place along with the Tvm xBhpians?! Let me know if interested.
