Between 90-100 was the most lovable and smooth cruising speed in AS200. you can do 120+ as well. But 90-100 is like awesome. I am very happy so far and still more days to go so, once the ride is over I will update you more details.

Thanks a lot for your detailed input. I am planning to upgrade from Yamaha R15v2. Since you have upgraded from the same model I will bug you with a lot of questions in future .

Default Day 4: Tanjore & Trichy, 843 kms done, 9 districts

Day4: I was in Tanjore,TN. 843 kms done, 9 districts. Got serviced for battery cable issue in Arasu Autos Bajaj Service centre. Super Customer Service especially mechanic Karunakaran was so humble and knowledgeable. He explained very well about the root cause of the problem and added more "Do It Yourself" tips to me. After servicing the bike I went to a big temple. Tanjore is a very know and famous place for a big Temple built by Raja Raja Chola I (1010 AD). Spent some time there and met JCI members of Tanjore and have given few safe biking tips to then and around 6:00pm I have started my ride to reach Trichy which is just 55 kms from Tanjore.

On the way It was night time, In the middle of Highway, Very dark, no trace of house or light nearby, Only me and my motorbike. Cars, buses and Lorries are crossing with 100+ kmph, slight drizzling, heavy thunder sound and lightning was so frightening. I was sure its going to be a heavy rain in few minutes, though I stopped and started to capture the lightning. After 20 minutes of wait and repeated try I got a thunder photograph added below, the experience was so scary and mind blowing. And also I have encountered a first heavy rain in this ride on that night before reaching Trichy which made me an hour delay.

Next day Morning in Trichy I have visited a Govt. School to give a session about Self-development program on Human Resources and met Trichy JCI members.

    Rest all comes as Pics,

@amrit_neo I am a HR professional and I love to share my experience and educate students to develop their human resource abilities. Initially 2011 I used to do sessions whenever I go for campus drives to colleges and later I decided to take this to as max as possible and mingled my passion of biking with HR profession and put to gather I am riding and at the same time contributing my service to students and also promoting safe biking as well. Yearly once from 2012 I am doing this journey all over Tamilnadu.

Great trip! Congratulations on your journey so far! I'm subscribed. Waiting for more!

The AS 200 looks the part of the ADV tourer. Bit disappointing to see very few reviews and ownerships so far. This should change it though. And I love the tail box stand. Which model is this and where from ? Have a spare GIVI (replica) box from my bullet days. Thinking of fixing it on my CBR.

    Keep riding!

@rohitnp : At present I don't have any docs about GIVI box, I have it in home. SO once I reach home will update you about the model number. Top bos is really helpful in long rides. Enjoy fixing up on your CBR

Even I didn't notice that, my bike seems very clean and fresh. Even the day before I have ridden during rain and I am still wondering how?

    By the way Thanks @kany1991

    ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

The same day that is on 29th Sep Day 5 I got to present a session to college students as prescheduled earlier in Perambalur district. Trichy - Perambalur route was a 4 lane highway and there was no any issue in that and end of the I stayed again in Trichy.

Day 6: From Trichy Pudukkottai Sivaganga Madurai

All the above routes are two lane state highways. In few stretch there were bad roads but overall the ride was so pleasant since it was like country road ride. Usually what I feel: If the roads of state highways are really good then it will be so awesome ride than 6 lane or 4 lane highway rides. On the way I have done a session to college students in Pudukkottai and met JCI members in respective districts. The time when I reach Madurai it was 8:00 pm. I have already called my friend Praveen to book the hotel in Madurai near Meenakshi amman temple. So it was so easy to reach the hotel in time. After a quick update to FB and other social media. I went for a deep sleep.
