Lightbulb 3500+ kms, 32 districts of Tamilnadu - aGegraph

Motorbiking has thought many lessons in my life. To being responsible, motivated, determined, to learn and explore the unknown. The learning experience through our passion varies for each human personalities. Motorbiking plays a huge role in our life. Apart from Government public transportation, Motor bike is the least affordable transportation a layman can own for himself. Rich or poor, the exciting feel of motor biking always push the adrenaline level high irrespective of the power (CC) of the motor bike.

By knowing or without knowing our life goes with our motor bike or bike where ever we go. School, Office, College, Function, Home, Tour, Shopping, etc., etc. We cant imagine a life without motor bike or bike in that matter. Imagine you want to go to a destination and your destination will be heaven as you expected or hell if you didnt control the bonding between you and your motorbike. I say, riding safe and reaching the destination is like getting in to a war and winning the battle. If you ride (fight) well by following proper rules, regulations, armors (helmet, jacket, gloves, shoes) and safety measures then you got a chance to reach the destination (win the battle) safe and sound else the worst part you can be imagine by yourself now.

And thus, motor bike has a power of shaping our human personalities and to discover that personality of human resources, I have started this initiative in the year 2012 named Augmented Journey for a Personality and every year I have done the same for a cause. Meeting school students, college students, NGOs and other groups and communities to promote safe motorbiking and self-development awareness on human resources and personalities.

My journey goes with minimum 10 days covering all 32 districts of Tamilnadu, a distance approximately 3500+ km. For this year 2015 named as aGegraph a journey to discover the personality for human resources, I going to start my journey on 25th Sep 2015 and the live updates will be posted in this thread from the day 1.

And most important, without @xBhp I would have not experienced any such safe biking practices. Thank you @xBhp for supporting my journey from 2012 and your input adds more value to my life and the journey. Thank you for reading and hope you enjoy joining my journey virtually through this thread and happy safe motorbiking.

Rough map covering borders of the over all route plan, actual routes and details will be updates in the coming posts.

That's a superb initiative! Will be looking forward to this thread.
Less explored places deserve special mention and sometimes are far far better than popular tourist spots. At least that's what I have concluded by extensively riding southern West Bengal. All the best!

Default Day 1: 3500+ kms, 32 districts of Tamilnadu - aGegraph

Though I have done few long rides before, this ride was so special to me because the ride was inaugurated in my native place with my native people.

As many would know about JCI Junior Chamber of International is a nongovernmental organization committed to creating impact in their communities by developing the skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions and take actions. Since I am the member of the JCI community, I was supported by the fellow members on the day 1 to inaugurate the journey. Around 9:00am members from Wheeled Wanderers (as all are xBhp members) and JCI members have gathered and with little introduction about my ride and motto of the journey all of them started wishing me to have a great ride a head and to be safe through the journey.

First day: Starting from Krishnagiri I have planned to cover three districts Vellore, Kanchipuram, and Tiruvallur. Stay will be at Chennai. As planned, without any delay and confusion, plan got executed.

Krishnagiri to Vellore: Its a clean 6 lane highway. Very wide and long to have a pleasant and smooth ride.

Vellore to Kanchipuram to Chennai: Its a 4 lane highway with lot of repaired pothole on the road which will sure disturb your riding experience, so little caution is required in this way. Top of it, after crossing an industrial area called Sriperumbudur a little traffic will hit the road which will add up the tiredness to your body. But it is manageable.

Around 6:30 pm I have reached Chennai after covering three districts as mentioned above. On the way I met Vellore JCI members and got wishes and appreciations from them. More days to come and with more excitement awaiting for the day 2.

Here comes few pic from day 1.

Default Day 2: 3500+ kms, 32 districts of Tamilnadu - aGegraph

When I sit to write a blog, getting confuse what to type. For instance, my ride is about a social cause, and also I do photography and also I am going touring in it. So should I write about the cause I am doing or photography or the roads and routes update? Little confusing, even by prioritising the topic. Well I started to type on what I was in to confusion and that is what you are reading now.

Fine, let me come back to the blog. Day 1, I have reached Chennai and Chennai is not a new city for me and that has made me to get struck in both personal and official work till 12:30pm next day which was on 2nd day 26th Sep. Any how I have started to ride at 2:00pm and the next destination was Pondicherry. Usual if it is a Pondy then ECR will be the ideal route from Chennai. Since road construction is going on in the East Coast Road, I choose Tindivanam route. i.e. Chennai Thambaram Tindivanam Pondicherry. It was a piece of cake ride because of 4 lane and 6 lane highways. What if there was no time limit to reach the destination? Since I got the appointment for next day i.e. 27th Sep. Well, it will be a photography ride still the sun sets.

    Rest all comes as pics.
