Default Pune- Aurangabad on my Pulsar200NS

Trip to Aurangabad from Pune 250 kms of journey.
I was thinking for a long ride to test my Pulsar 200NS, but not getting the chance to go out. Finally got some work to Aurangabad and I thought this was the best chance to test my Pulsar200NS to full extent.

The road was not new to me I had many solo bike rides on this road to my native place with my old 125cc machine.

Finally, I decided to leave early in the morning and changed my bike oil to Motul7100 20W50 2 days before journey and I was amazed to its results the oil made the engine really smooth. Gear changing was really smooth. The actual plan was to start at 5 am and reach my destination Aurangabad by 10:00 pm. (Around 250 km). But got little bit late in the morning and the actual start time was only at 5:30 am.

At 05:36AM: started from my place in Pune.

On the day there was a bit raining last night and also small drizzles were started at time, when I am going to leave. But not very much to stop me from riding. I just checked the fuel and it was enough to go out of the city so I decided to fill tank on petrol pump near Wagholi. I got my bike out of parking and allow the engine to heat up a bit. Here is the pic I have taken when I started my journey.

I planned to be in Aurangabad around 10:30AM started to pump up the bike. Still after a long gap of 2..3 years I was going for long bike ride, and due the small drops of rain, it was not easy for me to ride continue. I stopped and took a break in city itself after riding 20kms from my place. Cleaned my helmet visor, took a tea over there and again got started. It was fully a pride and enjoyment to ride the 200CC machine which is so awesome for running in speed. Still I cant ride more than 70 or 80 due the speed breakers and continue drizzling rain drops. Finally, after 30 kms from my place I was out of city in wagholi. As I decided to fill up the tank I stopped on a petrol pump in Wagholi to full tank. Still the pulsar was not on reserve so I decided to fill petrol of 500 bucks. I was not sure that 500 rupees petrol could occupy the tank. After filling, I can see the petrol right below the tank cap, full to the throat of my bike petrol tank.

The petrol pump pic is below which shows the mud on my NS due the light rain and mud on roads. I really dont like to see my bike like this but had to go.

Then I again cleaned the visor of my helmet hush... it was so dirty due to the mud on it. I was thinking to go as fast as I can but it was 06:30 on clock still I just left Pune. So I decided go fast and now the road becomes widen with little traffic as it was the morning time. I just thrown the accelerator and the NS flies like a rocket to 120KMph. It was a very pleasurable moment when you can feel the confidence to control the bike on 120kmph.the road was really a good one but not buttery smooth so I can feel the uneven surfaces on road. There are many small villages on this road which has lot of speed breaker specially the three and six in a row AAahhhh I really hate these type of speed breakers which makes you and your bike to dance on it.

But after crossing Ranjangaon the road become good and my speed also become stable over 100kmph. Still the drizzles are bothering me time by time and wet roads I feel its better to be careful, not to take corners in speed.

    At 08:30AM: 22kms before Ahmedangar.

It was 8:30am, Now I was about to reach to Ahmedanagar its showing 22kms from the place I decided to a stop again to clean the helmet visor and check the bike. I checked my cellphone for any messages and checked the bike tyres and engine condition. And I was amazed to see it was not really too much of hot despite of running 100 to 120 for around 45 minutes. I thought I was going quite slow due to roads and the rain drizzles. Then I again started and decided not to stop before Aurangabad.

I ride into the small turning road with speed and it so good to feel the cornering was so easy on my pulsar200 ns 100kmph and I can take turns with minimum efforts without applying brakes. Wow...!! Bajaj has made a big difference with this powerful bike.

There is bypass road for Ahmednagar which I saw and thought to go by bypass or through city, but as I travelled much on this road I always prefer to go through the city and it was morning time so no more traffic disturbance, so decided to go through city and within 20 to 25 minutes I crossed it. And the weather becomes also pleasant no more chances of rain. Just after crossing Nagar I saw many bicycle riders, they are around 30 to 40 in numbers. Here is snap I took.

Now the road is really awesome after Ahmednagar. It was really smooth what everybody wants while travelling, so I released my throttle and rode at around 120 kmph. Thanks to Ashoka Buildcon who made this road such a good. And it was a fun to ride on this road I crossed top speed of 130kmph and didnt push my bike above that. I crossed the Ahmednagar Ghat in the road with a very wide rod in it still dont have the divider on it. Really as the Bajaj said, the cornering is made so easy on this bike, my pulsar 200NS proved it. The perimeter frame chassis and balancing is such a miracle on 200NS. The ghat was so awesome you can see the road allthe way long till your eyess can see.

Finally, I ride through out 120kmph and managed to reached to Aurangabad at around 10.00am. I took a small brake just before the Aurangabad for 5 minutes and again entered the city MIDC area Waluj. While I was riding 2 boys with their pulsar220Fi saw me going fast and he started pull his bike. I thought it was good chance to see which is better so I also pulled the lever and in flash my bike swifts in front of his 220Fi but there was a signal ahead which was full by trucks and cars and bikes so he brakes his 220 and I pushed a little bit and I too pulled my bike breaks then he tuned somewhere from that corner.

    At 10:15AM:

I rode through the city to my uncles house. When I stopped my bike radiator fan was running and trip meter showing 250kms exact from my place.

    Speed: 130kmph TOP

    120kmph for almost 1hr

Varying as the road condition speed breakers and traffic.

Mileage: I got a good mileage of 50kmpl and I was amazed, cause in city my bike tends to give me 35kmpl.

Golden Yellow NS looks amazing !! Mileage of 50 kmpl could be a digital illusion check with the consumption figure.
