    DAY 5 – Tabo-Dhankar-Kaza-Kibber-Key-Kaza
    Started morning by visiting Tabo Monastery and prayer in the morning, after breakfast started for Dhankar monastery en route Kaza, you need to deviate from main road to go 7 Kms up and come all the way on same road to go to kaza. After visiting beautiful Dhankar Monastery we reached kaza by lunch, took lunch in market and stayed in home stay on kaza-manali road, after taking small break we started for key-kibber road, first enjoyed nice view at kibber and then visited key monastery, spend time till evening that was very beautiful place. Came back to kaza and spent time in kaza bazar, which was full of tourists, first we thought of staying two days in Kaza but due to crowd we dropped it and planned to stay at Losar next day.

    DAY 6 – Kaza-Langz-komic-Hikkim-Kaza-Losar

    Woke up early and after check out started for Langza-Komic-Hikkim circuit, this was the most scenic route of trip till now, and at height too per altimeter, with great difficulty bike pulled, but it instilled confidence that it will go till Kunzum top easily, had our breakfast at Langza village, visited Highest village of world Komic, there was nothing except monastery and photo op, then visited highest post office at Hikkim, sent post cards to friends and went back to Kaza to fill petrol in bike( last petrol pump till Manali), start from Kaza and enjoyed scenes enroute Losar, by 5 PM reached Losar and stayed at Sambhala home stay near highway, form this day onwards there were no roads only broken , rocky mountains, Losar is above 4000 mtrs so drink lots of water and rest, cold is also more at this place.

    DAY 7 – Losar-Kunzum Top-Batal-Chandertaal

    This day was test day for both riders as well as bike, highest point of trip Kunzum Top, with broken roads it was very difficult to gain momentum on steep inclines, but bike didn’t disappoint me , it parked itself on Kunzum Top, 18 KMs from Losar, after started descent towards Batal, took right towards chandertall , crossed 2 medium type nallahs( thank god for 400 rs boot, nothing can beat that during water crossings) , reached chandertaal by 11 , took a tent at our friend Jamaica and after filling our tummy with heavy breakfast, we started ascend for chandertal, more 3 KM from tenting site there is bike/car parking, after that need to walk for 5-600 mtrs, it was tiring , but views after that was simply breathtaking, we enjoyed scenes till evening, met with a friend of my friend( identified him with his Himalayan), we all came back and enjoyed evening in tent, it was too windy and chilly evening, we all discussed about most dreaded road of Spiti circuit which we would be taking next day Batal-Gramphoo stretch of 60 KMs which takes more than 6 hrs to complete with almost 20 water crossings, we bid adieu to each other to start early, good to get company on that roads.

    DAY 8 – Chandertaal-Batal-Chhatru-Gramphoo-Palchchan

    We started sharp 6.30 AM after light breakfast to avoid more water in water crossings, with great great difficulty we completed initial 20 kms, with so many water crossings, but with good company we were able to cross all hurdles without any problem, it started feeling like fun to all of us, by 10 we were in Chhatru, stopped for 1 hr and enjoyed heavy breakfast and tea( half battle won), by 12 we were near Gramphoo, all chhota dhara/bada dhara were conquered ( only god knows why it is called chhotadhara when it is sooo huge water crossing), landscape started changing again from dry to greenery, touched tarred road after 4 days, everyone was happy, now ascend to always crowded Rohtang Top, crossed it, started drizzling on Rohtang Top, after descending we stopped for tea 13 KM before Gulaba, Stopped for the day near Palchchan, as we wanted to avoid Manali rush, we all celebrated that evening our Spiti circuit completion.

    Day 9 – Palchchan-Manali-Chandigarh

    This was un eventful and warm day, our friends bid adieu to us as they had to reach Delhi on that same day, we started late around 9 AM after breakfast, whole day was just chasing trucks and traffic after Manali, we stopped for night in Chandigarh tired, dusted due to heat.

    DAY 10 – Chandigrah-New Delhi-Hyderabad

    Started 5 AM from Chandigarh, reached Delhi by 10 AM , loaded motorcycle back in train and took Shandaar AI flight from Delhi to Hyderabad, by dinner we were enjoying Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani cherishing our memories of Spiti Trip.
