    second leg was back to sankhu village from drass. i did fairly well according to my motorcycle capacity.mine was normal stock bike with no fuel injection so had a tough time at high altitude due to lack of oxygen

    here is jatin jain [owner of indianracingbazar.com and national motocross cahmpion starting from rangdum -leg 2 . on his ktm four fifty cc .jatin got 4th place overall it was his first rally . on the last day of rally from rumtek to debring he was the fastest ,left disappointed tvs racing,s natrajan . [overall winner] after reaching debring they had a 3-4 kilometer drag race and jatin again defeated him]

    It's a great experience you shared with us Laxman Sir, don't worry about your finishing place. It's a big endeavour to finish the race itself in first try on a new stock bike. You are an inspiration to all.

Size:  85.9 KBthis was 70 kilometer stage held on a road built during kargil war . indian army made a temporary road from sankhu to drass to avoid direct firing of pakistani .it was full of dirt and snow . it pass through umbala pass 13500 feet . i tried my best when i was on a speed of 60 per hour i felt my bike tyre become flat .it was road full of rubble and black snow i was riding . later 30 kilometer i completed with flat tyre and average 30-40 speed .i was disappointed at first .but somehow i completed stage i reached drass

Size:  80.8 KBflat tyre disappointed me a lot. i just wanted to save my tyre during stage and rode in standing position .because getting a new tyre of motorcycle was impossible in a town like drass and next day i had to complete last stage ..finishing venue of this stage was around 6 kilometer from drass town .actually this was the same route which we did in 1 stage and supposed to do this stage via lamayru pass but route was changed by organizer due to heavy snow fall in that route

Size:  78.7 KBfor a rookie competitor of raid like me it was a new experience .i was not having any service vehicle like other competitor so now i was in trouble how to get a new tube and go back to leh for new stage.for one hour i asked many people in drass .the sole puncture shop was open but the mechanic told me he cant fix rear wheel with ABS . so with heavy heart i moved to kargil which is 60 kilometer from drass . when i was just out of drass town i saw a truck tyre shop and i wanted to take a chance and asked mechanic .he again told me that he is a truck bus tyre mechanic and does not have any experience of ficxing motorcycle ABS tyre but he can try .he asked me to get tube from a shop of drass which was situated on dead end of drass ..with flat tyre around 2 kilometer i went to that shop and finally got a tube though size was not accurate but it my compulsion to get it done. i went back and gave mechanic tube and he took around 30 minute and fixed

Size:  98.8 KBaround 2.30 i left drass .and reached after 50 minute ride .road is very good ,made by BRO. after crossing kargil i started feeling drowsiness and fell asleep for a faction of second . this happened 2-3 times ..once i just going to gorge with my bike. i was stunned this is very dangerous situation .i was sleep deprived due to continues journey since last 7 days .so i watched porn to awaken myself .this idea works very well .

    जीवन रक्षक पोर्न। जब द्रास में रेस (रेड दे हिमालय)की स्टेज खत्म करके ट्यूब बदलवा रहा था तभी वहां हिमालयन मोटर स्पोर्ट्स के सचिव मंजीव भल्ला अपनी suv में हवा भरवाने आये, मैंने उनसे पूछा सर लेह में आज रिपोर्टिंग करने का क्या समय है?उन्होंने कहा ,8 घन्टे, और 2 घन्टे बीत चुके हैं।मैंने कहा कि मैं 6 घन्टे में द्रास से लेह पहुंच जाऊंगा ,उन्होंने कहा ,बिल्कुल।द्रास से लेह की दूरी 280 किलोमीटर है और पूरापहाड़ी रास्ता है, 1500 किलोमीटर मोटरसाइकल 3 दिनों में चला कर लेह आया था, फिर हजार किलोमीटर 3 दिन में चल चुका था, नींद पूरी नही हो रही थी क्योंकि रेस के लिए सुबह 5 बजे रिपोर्ट करनी थी रोज।दिन में सोने का समय ही नही होता था।टायर ठीक होते होते 2 बज गए।अब मेरे पास 6 घन्टे से कम समय था।लेह पहुंचने के लिए।द्रास से चल पड़ा , कारगिल तक आराम से आ गया, कारगिल से आगे आते ही नींद के झोंके आने लगे।पूरी शक्ति से आंख खोलकर चौकन्ना होकर मोटरसाइकिल चलाने लगा, फिर आंख लगी, देखा तो क्या खाई की तरफ बढ़ा जा रहा हूँ।एकदम मोटरसाइकिल रोक ली।और विचार करने लगा कि क्या किया जाए।कुछ कैफीन भी नही है जो नींद भाग जाए।अगर नींद नही भागी तो आज दुर्घटना तय है और देहांत होने की पूर्ण सम्भावना है, रुक कर सो भी नही सकता नही तो रेस से बाहर हो जाऊंगा।सोचते सोचते मोबाइल फ़ोन निकाला और अपनी एक तन्द्रा(नींद) भगा देने वाली विधि का प्रयोग किया।मोबाइल की गैलरी में कामोद्दीपक वीडियो ,चित्र 15 मिनट मनोयोग से देखे।सारी इंद्रियां जाग्रत हो गयी।उन्ही कामोद्दीपक चित्रों के बारे में विचार करते हुए मोटरसाइकल चलानी शुरू की।80,90, की गति से लेह की तरफ भगा दी, पूरा ध्यान पोर्न पर केंद्रित कर दिया।4 घन्टे 18मिंट में कारगिल से लेह ,220 किलोमीटर आ गया।ओर समय पर रिपोर्ट की।उस दिन पोर्न ने मेरी जान बचा ली और रेस भी।

Size:  84.5 KBnext day was the last day of road. whole stage was organized on leh -manali highway.normal traffic was barred during race. race started from rumtse village and ended at debring .in morning i left for rumtse village .after reaching upsi i felt a burst in rear tyre .i got freighted that my raid dream is almost over because it was very difficult to go to rumtse that is around 30 kilometer and than complete a 47 kilometer stage and come back . i went back to upshi village that was around 5 kilometer from the spot and asked for puncture wala. it was morning time around 8 . and there was low chance of any shope would be open .someone told me to police station .at front of police station lives the puncture maker . i was at his door .he was sleeping i asked him immediately come with me i will give you 500 rupees to fix the tyre .he immediately along with me and fixed the Tyre . the old tube was torn. there was 6 inch cut in the tube . he inserted a new tube and told me the old tube was not of tyre size thats why it got burst.

    i was getting late for the race. i was already very late. i was bit frightened that this tube may also explode . 2 continuous incidents of flat tyre had a negative impact on me. i was going alone to rumtse . when i reached there i was 47 minutes late from my scheduled time. they gave a start . i just wanted to complete race . the seat also become loose on one bump and fell down . i was under heavy stress . when i reached tanglang la pass -17480 feet . it was too cold. the gloves i was wearing were not enough for this temperature .i felt like my hands were frozen .finally i completed this 47 seven kilometer stage in 53 minutes.
