Default Bikecam of North East England.

    Hi folks,

I fitted the video camera to the H-D in the last comple of weeks and went for a wee blast around some roads here. I'd have posted this sooner but I'm only just figuring out how to do a clip on WMM and convert codecs to acceptable .suffixes for WMP and .... that uploads to YouTube no problem etc... Why, why , why can't a person just talk to a computer and tell it what they want to do and it knows!!!

Anyway... the link below is for a 6 minute or so clip from a 39.00 min film taken from Bishop Auckland, up the A68 and heading off to Alston in Cumbria.

The clip shows the area round about me and some of the roads I ride on. Around 1 minute 50 secs in you get to see a bit of the countryside. I fitted the camera clamp to the rear passenger footpeg which is rubber and because the H-D vibrates like a road-drill. LOL. The video's quite clear on the minimised screen in Youtube ut less clear on full screen.

I haven't yet figured out how to add music or edit some in but hopefully I soon will.

Anyway, here's the link and although not thrillingly exciting, I hope you enjoy seeing some of the roads round about where I stay. I should quickly apologise for putting the microphone in the pannier above the exhaust. LOL.

I might be out on a ride with over 50 or so Harleys and others tomorrow night as part of a memorial ride for a local biker who died recently. I'll do my best to capture the bikes on the way and get something posted soon.

Keep the knees in the breeze.

    Topic Approved.

Will check out the video now Olias. Thanks for sharing. And good to know you would be riding with a group of 50(!!) Harleys tomorrow night. Ride safe, and do share the experience as well as the pictures with all of us here, on xBhp.

Olias, nice video. But, most part of the video frame is covered by your leg. Is there any possibility to fit the cam before your leg. It would give an excellent video.

nice video Olias.. The thumping sound of that HD is lovely
I also suggest that putting the cam in front of your leg would be better next time

Though I haven't checked the video but the Harley word is enough to charge me up !!
Ride safe with those 50+ Harleys.... RIP for the biker who passed away.

The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!
