Default Need to put tubeless tyre in Himalayan 2016

    Hi guys

I want to put tubeless tyres in himalayan. I read somewhere that it is possible with spokes wheels as well. I have consulted a couple of mechanics and they aren’t able to do that. Please advise if anybody knows where can i get that done in Mumbai. Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance guys

I was trying to find tubeless tyre solution for Royal Enfield Himalayan with spoke wheels like the once that exist on the BMW 1200 / 850 GS, Tiger Explorer and KTM 1290 Super Adventure motorcycles. They look pretty easy to manufacture...with Holes to mount the wheels offsetting from the centre piece and set on the side or on the centre. Any idea where I can find such rims in aftermarket or local dealers and fit them on RE Himalayan?

Hi all, plz suggest alternate tyre options for Himalayan. Tube or tubeless. I have not found any alternative but the factory fitted ceat. I heard that xpulse 200 front tyre is of same dimension. Is that an viable option?

Sadly Himalayan, Impulse, XPulse all come with specific tyre size manufactured on demand by Ceat in India and sold only through official showrooms.
No other options available in India as of now by other brands, maybe you can look for any International brands which are imported, it'll cost you close to ₹10-15K

And Yes Xpulse has the exact same tyre as with Himalayan (same thread pattern, compound etc etc), so you'll get the exact same tyre from Hero or if you buy it RE.

I feel that the grip on tarmac of the ceat tyre is not confidence inspiring. RE must think about the customer and provide better options.
