Nothing to prove... just for info...

may be this helps Vega more than BHP. Those Vegas are available at Rs 2700. For more proof you can check with about half of the active members in Hyd G2G thread

I seriously doubt that, any link or reference to support it?
Okay, at least we know that GPOne's are out of production and anything available is old stock. There was helmet shootout in Bike India last year (you must be able to find this article on their website). Torx looks the same (exactly the same except for the name and may be colours) inside & outside as GPOne. Costs the same. Comes from the same manufacturer - SteelBird. The TORX in their review was also named SB-10 and in a table indicating saftey compliance at the end of the article they mentioned GPOne instead of Torx

My preliminary observation is that the BHP Racing ones have very good quality and liked them over the Diayja's, except for the graphics. Also, BHP Racing helmets and Vega helmets are ditto same. We have done this study several times as xBhp members in Hyd have them.
not sure abt the rest of the quality of daijya when compared with BHP.....but looking at the finish of the daijya i seriously think its not genuie.....i always felt it was some dupe helmet.

But who cares......am very very satisfied with the quality execpt for some niggles....and i feel that it well worth the money i had paid for it

Was available as old stock in BigBazar and grabbed it at a discount! BTW, GPOne is now available under TORX brand name.
    yeah right!

    @all...

he got the GP one helmet for 1.2k rs

yep....those abids helmet shop morons price the helmets on their own. Saw a Gpr helmet and asked the price and he replied that its 7k rs and was imported from US

But bargain hard and they will reduce the price......i almost bought a cross helmet from them once.....he quoted 4.5krs i bargained and got it down to 2.5k rs but i did'nt buy it since it was huge for me!

    Marushin Kintaro Red

On 28 August I had emailed Marushin Helmets, Japan, asking if they sell them in India in the Daijya brand. I hadn't received any reply from them all these days and i had though that they wouldn't care to reply. But today as i checked my email i was happy to see their reply. And i am happy that i hadn't bought one till now

I'm quoting the email i have sent and the reply i have received:

subjectAre Marushin Helmets available India as Daijya Helmets?

    Hi,

I wish to purchase this Daijya Helmet. Please see the link: (link removed)

I'm told that Marushin helmets are being sold in India as Daijya helmets. I would like to confirm this from Marushin Japan that these Daijya helmets are indeed made by Marushin helmets and meet safety norms. If Marushin helmets are not manufacturing this Daijya helmets then i would not want to buy it. I have read good reviews about Marushin helmets in some European sites.

If these Daijya helmets are authentic then why is it sold under a different brand name in India?

Kindly reply, your reply would help me make a correct decision.

    Thank you & best regards,
    Sankar.

    Hi Sankar,

this helmets is a illegal copy and a very cheap fake and has nothing to do with the original Marushin-Helmets. Not in safety and not in quality.

    Sorry to tell you this.

Also my Daijya(purchased in dec from dsg) fell down from the sofa at a height of approx 10-12 inches and lo & behold there's a clear visible crack on it.
A normal vega had fallen from the bike number of times never encountered such stuff.
M posting pics ,dunno how safe my head will be in an accident now

i used ninja, vega, aerostar for years, on a honest note, indian ISI marked helmets sare much better, the imported stuff could be seconds or rejected pieces too, u know the one who does not clear the quality standards. I would prefer going with an indian ISI trusted brand rather.
