  • @Sunnyside_up Thanks for the review...

    I loved this one^^

One could also get one for his girlfriend

Would be glad to know if anyone has tested this one...

A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

Actually, SOL does import helmets for women too. My wife uses a 68s Unicorn - Pink! See the attached pic (sorry for the poor quality). They also import the 39y exclusively for women riders. Women's helmets come in smaller shells sizes and girly-type graphics.

Check with SriramEfunds - he's been using this for the last six months and he's now also picked up a 68s Red Unicorn. In fact I think he posted some pics and a review about a month back.

          Big thumbs up.

Its good to see proper women's helmets being made available in India. Pillion safety is an often neglected aspect of riding in India even among the 'knowledgeable' biking fraternity. Most women dont wear a helmet if they are a pillion because of the heaviness they associate with helmets (understandable if we are getting them to wear regular guys helmets) and the inconvenience of having to do their hair at the end of it all.

You can take a horse to the well but you cannot force it to drink.

And I did not just refer to women as horses, I was just using a common phrase

I do hope that more of the xbhp crowd encourage their bitter errr better halves to ride with a helmet while accompanying them.

What I have seen is that most women dont wear a helmet if they are a pillion because of the heaviness they associate with helmets (understandable if we are getting them to wear regular guys helmets) and the inconvenience of having to do their hair at the end of it all.

Giving them smaller, lighter and colourful helmets (they love pink dont they) will go a long way in making it a much safer experience for everyone involved.

              • ^^ As you haven't specified any of your requirements I think your budget is too much that your forgot to pen it down, so I would suggest AGV GP Tech Rossi Replica Misano

Or else try typing what type of helmet you want, whats your budget and what would you prefer.

Budget can be 100 INR or 1000 INR depending from person to person. Still you haven't wrote what is the budget you have. Anyways Aaron helmets start from 700 goes to 1800 INR, Studds start from 675 till 2500 INR and Steelbird are the cheapest ISI helmets in India. Also there is Vega which offer customers good helmets depending on their budget

P.S : If you would have gone through the last 15-20 pages of this thread, you would have get the answer.

You can get the Vega Formula HP, Studds in that range. I personally prefer Vega as I am using it for the last 4 years for office commmuting, still going strong.

@ALL : Check Vega's (India) website, off-roaders will love the new monster painted helmets. I am going to get one soon just for the sake of having one
